Plaster Express (Stucco)

I asked if they could come by my house for an estimate and they indicated to send pics and size. I prefer not to get an estimate this fashion so I did not go any further. This process works for some people but not me.

Jorge is the owner of the business. He was a referral from the great framing contractor on my new build. The Stucco work was just completed yesterday and considerig the whole experience, I cannot praise him enough. The quote process was easy. He was very responsive and easy to work with. Pricing wise he was very competitive but I was impressed that although he had a team, he was the main person doing the stucco work. I bring this up because the two other companies that I called said they "had guys" they would send to do the work. Jorge listened to my concerns on cracking and we discussed measures to minimize the risk. Once settled on a price, every day that he and his team were here to work, they arrived promptly at 7am and worked all day. A lot of progress was made in a short period of time. The area around the walls being coated was kept tidy - don't get me wrong, stucco is messy, but they kept the area clean between work days. When the time came for the final coat (with color) we started with the small color charts, like paint, but discovered that once mixed our first choice just looked very different on a large surface. (Test on a large board!). He made two different runs to get samples of two additional colors until we were happy and never sounded "put out" by the additional requests but rather continued to make sure that we were happy with the texture/color, etc. So to wrap up, the addition looks beautiful and here I am looking for a way to help others, who might feel a little lost finding the right stucco guy. Call him. You will be glad you did.
