Description of Work: We just need help moving furniture within the home, within one room only. Just a few pieces - a queen sized bed, dresser, etc. It's a small job but my elderly parents need help.

+ -1 moreThe workers who showed up were friendly but made a small job into a large job. The job was scheduled for 3 hours and ended up taking 4 hrs 45 minutes. The salesperson on the phone quoted that they would not charge double drive time but after the workers arrived they wanted me to sign a permission form for the extra charges. I had to accept the additional charges or they would not do the work. The work was performed very slowly for example, instead of using a mattress bag, they spent 51 mins using plastic wrap to rap the mattress (additional $15.75 in plastic wrap plus labor time). The general contents of the house were already moved. There was extensive time spent covering the furniture and then plastic wrapping around the furniture pads which took a lot of time. It was obvious they wanted this job to last longer to fill in their day. I used a different service to do a much larger move the following week and it took half the time. Obviously, I’m disappointed in OnTrack Moving LLC and would not recommend their service.

+ -1 moreOntrack Moving was the best movers and moving experience I have ever had. They were on time, careful but quick, very nice and respectful. The price was incredible for the time and service as well. I mistakenly thought 2 items were missing (they were not) and the manager was incredibly responsive and gracious when I realized my mistake. I will absolutely use them again for every future move. They service was excellent all round and I highly recommend.

Description of Work: I moved from the Bay Area to Sacramento. They provided storage services and brought everything to me when I was ready to move. They wrapped up the furniture really well and the appliances were well taken care of. They were very on time and professional.
