Nugent Plastering

Nugent Plastering and Kevin, in particular, were INCREDIBLY helpful on an especially tricky project. The project was supposed to be a large, though straightforward, tear off and replace of the stucco on three sides of my house. But I’d made some unfortunate choices of my own, just before they started, that made everything about 100x worse for them. Kevin was a total pro, patient, and generative as we worked through a really terrible situation together for almost a year (again, to emphasize, because I messed up, not them). He also just did an excellent quality job. I’d had lots of leaking everywhere that several contractors had tried to fix piecemeal, all of them failed, but Kevin’s job stayed water tight and totally dry through last winter’s epic storms. Such a relief!

Kevin and his team were very professional , experienced, and efficient. While we were worried about the length of the project, Kevin provided daily updates and a timeline for each step throughout the project. His team showed up early daily and worked on sections of the exterior wall. After each day of work, Kevin's team cleared out old stucco and materials and organized the area so that it was safe to walk through. We are happy that we worked with Kevin and his team to complete our exterior stucco wall.

Kevin is very professional and knowledgeable about stucco wall installation and repair. He is a true expert in anything related to stucco. He presented us with a reasonable estimate after he assessed the damaged exterior wall. His timeline from start to end of project was on target (about 1 month). The work crew is very punctual, hardworking and cleans up the area nicely after each day. Kevin and his team updated us daily on the project so that we knew what to expect next. Nugent Plastering did great work on my new stucco wall and we will consider hiring Nugent Plastering for future projects

Kevin, does great work! He came to our house, outlined his project goals and steps. He gave us a few different types of estimates and explained his recommendations. Once the project started, he walked us through the day to day tasks. In the middle of the project, the global coronavirus epidemic occurred, and he still communicated how he would complete the project. He came to the house a few times when we urgently needed something. He completed this project in a professional and honest manner, even though there were so many horrible obstacles related to the shelter in place and virus fears. He truly is the best!!! We would highly recommend Kevin for everyone. Most older homes have old stucco. We never realized that we even needed to update the stucco. We can already tell that the home is warmer and retains heat much better!! If you have an older home, double paned windows will help, but new layered stucco is equally important in keeping the heat in... We are glad we did the work, and so glad we found Kevin!! I hired Kevin and his team to remove 8' of siding on the west side and approx 16' of siding on the south side of my hourse and replace it with stucco. Kevin was great to work with, itemized the work as I requested, very knowledgeable and answered all my question. The work is top notch and the team left the area clean after their workday.

Kevin was great. Very responsive, quickly scheduled the work, professional. He's been doing this for years, and it shows in the quality of his work. We had a big patch where we closed up an old exterior door. Kevin bid the job from a picture, showed up a couple days later, and finished it all in a day.
