I left a VM at the company number and someone returned my call after 8PM same day. From the very first word, the guy who called me had a very rude tone. I still calmly explained him the scope of work and at the end when I asked him for the estimate. He tells me I just told you. I know he didn't mention but still I said I might not have heard it and if he could tell me. He tells ridiculously high quote without mentioning what is that for. I wanted to confirm what the price is for so I asked him whether its for the entire project or some parts of it. He tells me again, I just told you that its for "some" things but not all. When I asked him what are "some" of those things in that price. He again rudely tells me these are the things... I just was so done with that call. Very Unprofessional. I have worked with some many contractors but never seen this kind of behavior before. I would never recommend them.

I called to replace several electrical fixtures. On the phone, he quoted $75. When he arrived he started pointing out lots of other work that needed attention. I agreed to some. At the end of the first day when we planned to have him return the following day to replace wood on a deck, he charged $150 for the light fixtures, stating that $150 was his minimum charge. Arrived much later than planned, but did an excellent job on the deck repair. Be sure to nail down what is needed and what the total cost will be. Perhaps a written estimate for large jobs would be safer.
