They acted in my behalf and I got a rebate for going green. They were very prompt, clean, and polite. They were very up front about the options and information available.

Description of Work: The first time Michael came to the house to evaluate the condition of the old furnace and what would be needed for a new one. He was on time and very helpful in deciding what type of furnace to install. When the installers, Stuart and Ben, came the next time they too were punctual and friendly. They were neat and completed the job on time. I would definately use them again.

Description of Work: They came out to fix my furnish and had to replace a circuit board as well as a transformer.

Description of Work: It was a follow up appointment that ABC initiated to check on their AC & furnace install at the beginning of the year. Also, ABC followed up with the county on the permit inspection and scheduled the call. ABC was extremely helpful and responsive. The coordinator followed up on matters quickly and was thoroughly knowledgeable. They diligently call back with the utmost courtesy and attention.

Description of Work: Replaced duct work for furnace and air conditioner and subcontracted removal of old duct work through Synergy due to presence of asbestos tape used on old duct work. (Synergy cost $1400.00). |The work was done on time with few glitches. I was a little irritated by the incredible amount of dust all over the house after the work was done, I was also frustrated when the workers left, leaving some of their equipment behind. Fortunately, they came back and removed it the same day. Now I am impressed with how much better the air flow from my furnace and AC is. A week later, the city inspector came and signed off the work as done correctly. So now I have my house back together and am very happy all of the disruption is done.

Description of Work: They are a high pressure sales company wanting to sell as much as they can whether you need it or not. The product they sold me and the installation was very good, but the follow-through was very poor. After installing an air conditioner/heater system, they told me I also needed to replace all the duct work as well. They would not sign off on the permit when I told them I didn't want the ducts replaced, only repaired. They would not repair the ducts either. I had to hire another contractor to reapply for a permit, repair the ducts (which did NOT need to be replaced) and finish off the permit process. The quality of the product, the work crew and the installation was good, but the owner and office professionalism was VERY lacking.

Description of Work: ABC replaced both our furnaces (one in the basement, one in the attic) with high efficiency ones. They did the work while we were away, but when we came back everything was clean and in order in the house, and the house warms up well. Someone came to check on things and answer question we had about the thermostats. When the city of Palo Alto inspector came to sign off on the project he said "these guys knew what they were doing, this is a great job."

They offered me a next day appointment; the tech arrived on time, wore shoe coverings in my home and found the problem quickly. He did not try to sell me a whole new (expensive) unit. He reconnected two loose wires and charged me only for the service call. I was very happy and relieved.
