I was impressed by the expert confident knowledge of Neal Golding. I was concerned if out job would be too small and he happily said they do this size job all the time. I had many worries about the balcony floor that had leaked for more than 10 years off and on with 2 composition roofing jobs done to it. Neal suggested replacing the small drain pipe with a scupper to allow more water to flow out and not become clogged. That was a stroke of genius and exactly what would solve my problem with this balcony floor. They did not have to come thru the house to access the balcony which was a relief. The removed all the old composition roofing off the balcony floor and added new subfloor materials to assure an accurate drain slope. They applied a layer of epoxy, then a layer of fiber glass and resin, then after sanding they applied a final coat of colored epoxy. The balcony is as water tight now as a bathtub, finally after 10 years!! These guys did it all in 3 days. I was happy to see they also removed all the wasted materials off to the dump. I am so happy with the results, its professional appearance, and the ease of maintenance it will give. I recommend them to anyone.

We requested some extra work involving neating up the surface around the feet of the railings. No problem they came back and did exactly as requested. Excellant work!

Job became more extensive when original material was removed and dry rot was discovered. We were advised accordingly. We are satisfied. Check back in 5 years to see how it is holding up.

His estimate was great. His estimate was lower than another service provider with less experience. He was very professional and honest. He told me the pros and cons to the ideas he had. He told me if there could be any potential problems.

The contractor has been on time and flexible to adapt to stormy conditions. Work was performed promptly and to good quality standards.I would consider Applied Waterproofing Systems for other similar projects.

The whole process took about 4 days since there was cleaning, and 3 coats to be done. The workers were on time, moved furniture off the deck, covered surfaces against overspray, cleaned up, generally were very professional. They worked about 4 half-days, with drying time each day and completed the job on time and according to estimate. I got 4 bids on the job before I hired Applied, and they were in the middle of the pack price-wise, which is why I didnt give them an A on price, however Neil the owner, who did the estimate himself, seemed to have the best understanding of the process involved, the materials needed, and had the most experience doing this exact kind of flat roof waterproofing job, so I hired them instead of a other contractors with a lower estimate. The roof looks great, and has a great looking durable coating that's very grippy underfoot. Overall it was exactly what I wanted, and I'm extremely pleased with Applied Waterproofing.

The workmen were here when they said they would be. They were polite and professional and completed the work as promised. They made an extra trip out to paint the rail they had replaced when the deck was finished and could be walked on.
