We needed to desperately replace our old garage door that came with the house we purchased. When we purchased our home, we knew we had maybe 2 years at best left on the door, hardware, and motor. We had rodent issues in our garage as the old door left a 1/2 inch gap from the floor. In general, the door was probably a safety hazard for our two young children too. We have used Affordable Garage Doors in the past for our previous home and have recommended them to our parents as well. So, we felt very comfortable with them performing the work. Scheduling time for a quote was easy, the team showed up as agreed, made measurements and noticed our irregular door sizing as well as the issues with our garage floors not being even, hence also a cause for the rodent entry issues. They claimed this wasn't an issue and they would add a 2 x 4 to right side our opening. The installation occurred a couple of weeks once the door arrived from the manufacturer. The team showed up onsite as agreed upon,removed the old door, and swiftly installed our new door, new motor, and helped program our remotes to also work with our gate. They worked very efficiently and quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They also hauled away our old door for a price, but considering its age, size, and weight, I was happy to pay for the hauling fee. The new door works great, they even adjusted the door to remove the gaps left by our uneven garage floor, and added some additional wood at the base of the frame that had rotted away. The new Linear LDCO800 motor is super quiet. Overall, we are very happy with our new garage door, with the services provided by Affordable Garage Doors, and we anticipate using them again if ever we need some help. Thanks.

I asked for a quote, they came within a few days, on time. They inspected, gave me a reasonable quote and answered my questions. They came a week later and did the work, on time, quickly, and they cleaned up. I had a question a few days later and they replied quickly. Robert and Jo Duncan were excellent and professional in every way, and I would definitely call them again. They are also fun and humorous.

I found Affordable Garage Doors on Angie's List and in the Pacifica phone book, they answered the phone right away and I described the problem. They diagnosed it immediately, and we set up an appointment for the same day. They came a bit earlier than they'd predicted, and confirmed their diagnosis (the major spring had broken). They fixed it within an hour or so. They also told me about the products available when my ancient garage door opener finally bites the dust, but did not attempt any hard sell. They were completely pleasant to work with, competent and efficient, and even though I've never had the garage door fixed before so I have nothing to compare it to, I felt that the price charged was completely reasonable. I will definitely call them in the future for any garage door-related problems. I wish they handled other home repairs, as well.

WE GOT SEVERAL BIDS, AND HIS WAS MOST COMPETITIVE. HE WAS A GREAT PERSON TO WORK WITH, VERY AGREEABLE. MADE SURE THE GARAGE DOOR FUNCTIONED PROPERLY AND QUIETLY. WHEN WE HAD A PROBLEM A FEW MONTHS LATER WITH THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER, HE CAME OUT, CHECKED IT OUT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM- FOR NO ADDITIONAL COST.
