Gutter Depot

After getting 3 estimates I selected Gutter Depot, because of Nir's attention to detail and competitive price. When he came to the house to provide an estimate he spent a lot more time measuring and checking out the roof than the other contractors. He even went up on the roof (no one else did), because we had built a new addition and he wanted to see how the old and new roof sections were joined. He noticed a steep valley between these sections could funnel an unusually heavy volume of rainwater to one corner causing the gutter to overflow. So his plan took this into consideration and included additional downspouts and more water flow diverters, even though the bid was only $100 more than the next lower bid. I scheduled the work about a month after getting the bid. A crew of two installed high gloss white 5" Ogee style aluminum gutters (to match white trim color) and navajo downspouts (to match stucco color). The job took a full day. They formed the gutters on site from a large spool of aluminum in the back of their truck. It was interesting to see them create each custom length gutter section especially the longest 65' section. (Be sure there is plenty of room behind their truck for them to do this.) To ensure each gutter section drained properly toward a downspout they used our garden hose to spray water on the roof and watched it run into the gutters and through the downspouts. They made adjustments as needed. The owner Nir was not there that day, but he was available by phone if needed. The installation went smoothly. A couple weeks ago we had the first big rain storm of the season, so it was the first time we got to see our gutters in action and everything worked great. Besides keeping water away from our foundation, I have to say the glossy white gutters actually improve the curb appeal of our home!

I was incredibly happy with the experience. Nir gave personal service, meeting with us to consult about the project, as well as personally dropping by for any follow ups. Nir really seemed to care, getting to know me personally, and even remembered me when I called him out for some follow up assistance a year later. In fact, Nir came by twice since installing the gutters to attend to really trivial issues, and did not charge me on either occasion. The gutters look great and work well. I recommend him highly.

Everything went very smoothly. The estimator showed up on time and went through the work that needed to be done. He made a few good suggestions that solved some problems. The quote was emailed the next day. Once we decided to go with Gutter Depot, they scheduled the installation for a few days later. The installers were great--very professional, neat and made sure everything looked good and worked properly. Overall a very good experience.

Excellent! Came in the a.m. at scheduled time. Sent crew later that same afternoon to do the entire job. They did a great job!! 7 days after the job was complete we had a full day 12 hours of rain!! When I decide to have work done around my house, I put it off and put it off.... So when I do call someone out it's usually because I'm ready and want it done now. So I appreciate when without being asked companies can start or do the job immediately. note: Quote from another company was a little less but would take 2-3 weeks for material.

Requested estimate for rain gutter repair because of two small areas of overspilling due to two sagging sections in 4" gutters. Estimator was arrogant and aloof, refused to inspect the areas of gutters that were problematic, choosing instead to make an estimate based on guess work from the ground (did not access roof to see problem first hand). Estimate was way very high and for work that we felt unnecessary. Serviceman (named Nir) recommended replacing all existing gutters and downspouts, even those that are perfectly functional, with new 6" size. Refused to discuss options to the overpriced estimate.

All the good things said about this company are true! Nir, the owner is friendly. intelligent, concerned and professional. He designed an underground option for disposing of excess rain water that I hadn't thought of . He also allowed me to do some of the work myself (digging a small trench for the underground pipe) reducing the price accordingly. In hindsight, my back says let them dig the trench! It is much harder to do correctly than it looks. Without this underground system the price would have been $1100 for a 1500sqft single story house.He also increased the size of one downspout because it was actually handling water runoff from not only the main structure but also one roofside of an addition. (No wonder that side always "flooded" in heavy rains) His work crew of two were very professional, spending all day installing the gutter system beautifully making it look more like expensive molding than gutters. They responded to requests for little detail additions/corrections without a bit of attitude. IE the spacers used to keep gutters correctly away from the facia board were not painted white on the inside. After installation they went back and individually sprayed the interiors white - and there were a lot of them. Do not hesitate to hire this company. FYI they do use a seamless system extruded on site from their truck. How do you give and A+? Thanks Angie!

They responded promptly to a request for quote. Nir came out and we discussed gutters, rain barrels, drains, and some other water-related issues I'm dealing with. He was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. He got me a quote and walked me through the numbers on the phone. No hard sell or pressure. The work took two days with a two-man crew. Nir came out to get the crew started on both days. The crew was polite, very good at their jobs, and they left the site clean both days. The work was perfect. No surprises on the invoice. The whole experience was great. Highly recommended.

Gutter Depot came out to the house and provided us with suggestions on the type of gutters and how they should be installed. Gutter Depot was very friendly and professional. We appreciated their no nonesense approach. Once they sent us the estimate, they were the only company to follow up with a courtesy call to see if they could answer any questions. We delayed in using them because we were also exploring having other work done on our house, but once we narrowed down the scope of work to gutter installation, we were happy to call them back. They were the most professional of all the vendors we spoke to.

We are holding off until next year when we save up more money to get the work done. They were very nice and responsive. They were quick with their quote. They were not as thorough as another company but they seemed nice and they seemed good. We think that we will probably go with the other company. Their price did seem reasonable compared to the other company and it wasn't that far off.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. This is the kind of Contractor that you want to work on your house, responsive and professional. Nir, the owner, was quick to give an estimate and respond to any concerns.Rene and his team who did the work are amazing craftsmen with great eyes for detail...great to work with.

I called Gutter Depot because they were one of the few companies listed that offered exterior drainage work. I had a problem with drainage on the side of the house, with rain water emptying into the crawl space. Gutter Depot made an appointment for an estimate with me at my earliest convenience. Nir came out, calling to let me know he would be late. He evaluated the problem, and offered me the more practical and less expensive solution to the drainage problem: place new gutters and downspouts that drained water to the front of the house (the downspout was, at that time, draining to the side). As I planned to eventually replace the gutters, I contracted for the work to be done, which was scheduled for the following week. Two workers came out, worked all day, and placed the gutters and the downspouts in the configurations to which Nir and I agreed. They are beautiful! I keep on going outside to admire how nice my home looks with the new gutters.

They came on time and finished sooner than we expectied!

Nir, the head of Gutter Depot, provided outstanding service. He called me back the same day I called, and came by my house later that day to give the estimate. He was very helpful with his ideas about how we could provide better downspout placement, and designed several solutions. Nir explained the different types of screens available to cover the gutters, and brought samples of the screens and gutters. The work was performed when he said it would be done, and was done in a professional and neat manner. We are very happy with Gutter Depot and highly recommend them!

We had an excellent experience with this outfit from start to finish. The resulting installation looks great and shows excellent workmanship. The job was completed in a timely fashion over several consecutive full workdays. The work crew was friendly, considerate, and professional. At the end of each day, the work scene was cleaned up with care, making it easy to carry on as normal during the project. All appointments and start/finish times were kept on time. Nir Doiev did an great job of managing the work and in staying in communication with us about all aspects of it.

They did a very good job and their customer service was exceptional. They showed up on time and provided the service they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. And when I wanted an additional adjustment to the work, they accommodated my request in a timely manner.

NIR DOIEV, the owner of Gutter Depot, is an amazing fellow. He promptly responded to my call and brought out his very professional team to install gutters. They did the entire job on my 2200-sq foot house in less than a day. They were fast, efficient and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They made great suggestions of how to efficiently install the gutter for the best rain runoff and they also installed the barrel. Nir not only called back the next day to make sure the job was done well, but also he called back during the first and second rainstorms of the season to make sure the system was working efficiently. I wish all contractors could be like Nir and Gutter Depot, and provide professional, quality, caring work. He is the best! I recommend them to all. If you need rain gutters, make no call other than to GUTTER DEPOT!

After a very rainy season, we noticed water leaking into our sunken living room! When we lifted up our carpet -- it was clear that we had a leak problem. We called a local company and it was a disaster. They said that it was just an issue with water coming through under our front door. $2,000 and another rainstorm later -- THERE WAS EVEN MORE WATER! We called Gutter Depot, and they saved us. Nir Doiev came to our house and inspected it for HOURS to determine the cause of the leak. He used the hose to flood the side yards, etc. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Once he determined the source of the leak -- he drew up an estimate of the plans to pour concrete on the side walkways of the house so that no water could get through. Because it was the rainy season, Nir and his crew worked 12 hour days for 2 straight days to pour the concrete and make other related repairs. We were going to be ready for the next rainstorm! After the storm, we had a DRY house. Because of Nir, we also had 2 powerful pumps installed in the backyard that could push out any excess water into the street. We also had an outside drainage pipe installed at the bottom of our driveway as an extra precautionary measure. Despite the heavy rainy season this year (2010) -- we are totally dry and safe -- thanks to Nir and his crew. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. I really appreciate his knowledge and expertise, and I really valued his integrity and willingness to go the extra mile in completing a big job in a short about of time. I felt as if he were working on his own house and wanted to keep his own family dry!

After 10 years, our old gutters needed replacing. Nir Doiev came out for a quote right on time. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and his experience. I knew that he was an experienced general contractor as well so he was very knowledgeable about our house and how best to install the gutters to maximize their efficiency. He stuck to the letter of his initial estimate, and he was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family, and I will definitely be using his company in the future.

I called and set up the first appointment to get an estimate. The company called a day or so before the first appointment to cancel and ask for another date, which I gave them. Then, nobody came for the rescheduled appointment and nobody called to explain.
