Matt was a great guy to have around, and did a brilliant job. He took time to understand exactly where we wanted the outlets and light fittings, and his work was quickly approved by the inspector (we pulled permits for the garage remodel). He was with us for about a day and a half in total. His quote was reasonable, and he got the job done. I have no hesitation recommending him.

Matt arrived at the agreed-upon time and performed the job efficiently. He was very professional and his price was reasonable. I would certainly use him again.

I called Matt, he happened to be in the area so he came right after that job for an estimate (same day). We agreed on the the price he quoted. He came back 2 days after to do the projects. He arrived on time and cleaned up after his work. We couldn't be happier with his quality work. We would highly recommend and use him a again for future projects.

I have used him for the last several years. He is always available and treats me as a personal customer. He always responds quickly, is extremely professional, and does good work. He does what needs to be done and is fairly priced.

I called Matthew Comer and spoke with hime BEFORE Christmas, He was busy with other clients and said he would come out the following week. I said sure. He called again and said due to New Years, He would reschedule. I called him back the following week and asked that we just schedule a time that was good for him to come and do the work we had discussed. We scheduled appointment for 8:00 on Monday January 13, 2014. He did not show up. I called him no answer. :-( He finally did phone me back but I had already called someone else. I will not use someone who I cannot trust. Matthew was not professional in his actions.

He was very good. The amount I paid wasn't very much for the amount of work he did. He was absolutely wonderful. His price was very reasonable and he was very kind. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Matt's quote was extremely reasonable. He offered some suggestions which I greatly appreciated and agree with him about. He was on time and very flexible when it came to working around other contractors doing work in my home. He had to come back a couple of times for various stages of work to be done and worked efficiently and quickly. I was not only impressed with his work but the speed with which he got everything done as well as his price being very reasonable. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good electrician.

Rough estimate is well priced, so we're excited to follow up. We had some delays in moving, so will have to figure this out in October. We had Comer electric out to look at the proposed electrical work. He seemed very enthusiastic & said he would provide a quote. I sent him a list of the work to be performed. It's been 12 days and we haven't heard back. We sent a reminder email but no response. Not sure what happened? Time to find someone else...

I called to get a quote on rewiring my 2 bathrooms as well as upgrading my electrical panel. I read positive reviews on Angie's list and decided he was worth a call as I like to use local companies. He answered what I assume was his cell phone and since he did not answer with his company name, I had to inquire that I had reached the correct person. I could tell that he was at a job site and offer to speak at another time which he said he'd call back within an hour. He called back about 6 hours later and I wasn't upset as I told him no hurry. But during our brief chat, he told me he would come by to provide an estimate on Saturday. He explained that he had plans with his family earlier in the day but would call me when they were done and come by. I spent all day Saturday at home waiting for his call which never came. In fact, I never heard back from him. I normally don't like to complain about someone or their business but I feel that at least a courtesy call to tell me that he wasn't going to make it would have been appropriate. I understand that people get busy but a quick call is all that is needed. Your prospective clients' time is just as valuable as yours.

Arranged an appointment several days in advance for 1pm. Matt wasn't there on time, but I was able to contact him relatively quickly. He still ended up later than planned after the call, but he turned out to be worth the wait. He diagnosed the problem quickly, helped sort out the main panel so that we knew which were the larger circuit breakers, and showed that he cared to make sure things were in order. I think he gave me a good deal since the call did not take too long, and because he felt bad about the delay. I'd definitely call him again for electrical help. It was clear he is competent, cares about his work, and wants to make sure his customer's are taken care of. I'd rather deal with a small business owner who really cares, even if i sometimes have to wait longer than I wanted; I figure he is just taking care of someone else fully. That's my philosophy as a homeowner and i won't hesitate to call him in the future. Thanks Matt!

I have been looking for a reliable electrician for some time. I turned to Angie's list for help. I reviewed at least 25 different electricians/companies on Angie's list and, in my mind, one company stood out above all others, Comer Electric. I replaced an old dishwasher which had been hard wired in. The new dishwasher has a plug. While the installers got all of the hosing hooked up for the new dishwasher, they left the conduit with the exposed wires which had been attached to the old dishwasher lying under my kitchen sink. I called Matt immediately. He returned my call promptly and proceeded to ask me some questions about what the installers had done. I knew immediately I had found the right person! Matt sensed my urgency with fixing the problem. He made a special trip out on a Saturday after he and his son had finished some personal activities. He installed a junction box under my sink so that the dishwasher would be on its own dedicated circuit breaker. He also discovered that some of my circuit breakers were mislabeled which he also got sorted out. When I first spoke with Matt, he quoted me $125.00 for the job and when he was done the price had not changed. I have additional electrical maintenance items of a non-emergency nature which I plan to do on vacation. Matt is the only person I want to handle those items. Very professional and I look forward to working with him again.

Matt showed up as promised at 8 am. I showed him the three areas that needed to be connected and he started immediately. Friendly, professional, quick and efficient. The four traits you are looking for when hiring someone. He did a great job in a short amount of time and meet my needs exactly. I would definitely use Matt again.

Matt came out twice to quote the job - once when we were still trying to figure out exactly what we wanted to do and needed suggestions, and then again when we had a better idea, to go over specifics. He had a very can-do, "whatever-you-want" attitude. He took no notes and we worried he'd forget something but his quotes were complete and accurate. Even though things began to add up, we felt the quote was fair. We wanted to do this work on a particular day when our roof was off during our re-roof, allowing easier access to the attic, and he made himself available on that day, 5 days out. He and his assistant, Charlie, arrived on time and got right to work. When it came to the ceiling, there was a bit of a tendency to want to cut first and see what was on the other side later, and a couple times they found beams in the way that either had to be moved or otherwise worked around but, in they end, they made it work. Charlie got to do the dirty work in the cramped and highly-obstructed attic and that was no pleasant task but, as he said, "that's what I'm paid to do." Both guys worked h****** a hot day and were always friendly. They took care to clean up behind themselves. At the end of the day, everything was done except the trim to the living room ceiling lights, which turned out not to be available at the gettin' place that day, so they had to make an extra trip downtown the next day to get them and they were immediately installed. We couldn't be happier with the results of the whole job. Matt recommended a drywall guy to come in after and repair the 5 holes that had to be made in our walls. He just finished yesterday and did a great job!

I needed another outlet for a hand vacuum in a very tricky spot. Mr.Comer was able to pull one from a close by light switch with little effort. It was a clean and fast job. Thank you.

Matt was prompt and responsive in returning phone calls and worked with our time sensitive schedule. He provided a fair quote for the work and stuck to it. The wiring was more involved than anticipated and Matt was very good about outlining the various options from which to choose. The work was completed on time and within the cost parameters of the original quotation. The project was completed in a high quality manner. Matt is highly professional and I would not hesitate to call on him again or to recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done on their home.

Matt was very thorough, checking out all possibilities before proceeding and spoke with my spa expert to make sure everything was coordinated. He had to go and purchase the part, but came back and quickly replaced it with a new one.

I needed to have a exhaust ventilation fan installed in my bathroom. Sent e-mail via Angie's List. Received a call back within 2-3 days. He stated that the e-mail went to his spam folder which is why he did not call back promptly. Since he was on a job at the time of the call, he said he would call me back that same evening to schedule an appointment to meet me at the job site. After several more days, I called again and left a voice mail to return my call. No call was returned, so I sent a text message to call me on my cell phone. Still waiting.....apparently he does not need the work or the description of the job to be performed was not to his liking. I'll never know the reason since we've never made any other contact. I'm moving on...........

I sent an email through Angie's list, and he replied within 24 hours. It did, however, go to my spam folder. He asked me to call him to set up a free estimate, and I did, and we played phone tag for about a week. My job wasn't super urgent, and we were able to work something out finally. We scheduled the job for Thursday between 8:30-9:30. Matt arrived at 10:30. Once he got here, he went right to work, made me really comfortable (you know how sometimes it's just awkward having someone in your house? Not with this guy.), gave me some great suggestions and was really patient. As far as I can tell the work is great, and he also took a look at a room I wanted to add outlets in and was, again, super patient. Matt is fantastic, and really listens and comes up with solutions. He's probably not going to be on time. I was a little grumpy when he was late, but he turned out to be totally worth it. So schedule him when you can afford to wait around a bit, and you'll be super happy.

Matt was great to work with. He's professional, dedicated to ensure the work is done right, reliable, shows up when he says he will and the price is right. * I was having trouble with my new microwave/convection, and he took the time to take the microwave to his house to see whether it was the microwave or the electrical and determined it must be the electrical. * So he came back and pulled the entire run out and put another one in. * Unfortunately we're still having trouble, but he took the time to call GE and see what they could do to help out. * Also one of my circuits went out with my recessed lights, and he suggested instead of moving some of the lights to another circuit, to simply reduce the wattage in the lights by going with LEDs, so it would use less electricity, and the circuit will not blow. I would recommend Matt tp anyone and he's on my List of those I would definitely call back.

We've used Matt many times over the years, and have always been happy with the quality and professionalism of his work. He keeps his appointments on time, makes appropriate suggestions to correct or update a problem, and cleans everything up (including washing off some smears near the ceiling light).
