Great! Matt answered the call and scheduled an appointment with us for the following day. He showed up on time, was very thorough. Matt was a professional in every sense of the word. Matt was on-time. He installed my LED exterior security light that I purchased from Costco. After testing the light, the motion sensor and light did not work as advertised. So this project was put on hold for a couple days until I could get a replacement security light. Matt suggested avoiding the LED units because he's experienced issues with them in the past. So I purchased a halogen motion activated flood light with timer. The unit worked perfectly. Matt also installed a wireless wall switch inside my house that is connected to the flood light that allows me to override the timer and to keep the light on... GENIUS! This is a great feature! Afterwards he installed an internet jack so I can connect my DVR (in the living room) to my Internet router (in my office). This was quite an ordeal since Matt had to crawl underneath my damp house to tack the cat6 cable from my office to the living room. The location where I wanted to install the wall jack in my living room was behind my foundation so the best alternative was to drill a small hole through the floor behind my TV unit in an inconspicuous location. It wasn't my preferred location but the wall install in the living room wasn't an option. Matt installed the cat6 keystone Ethernet jack in my office and crimped the Ethernet head connector on the other end in my living. This part of the job took a lot of time but, I was very happy with the entire job. I recommend Matt. He's friendly and easy to talk to.

This was a non-standard installation, and the concept was mine. It took several iterations to get it right, and Matt was supportive in helping me come up with a solution that met my needs. I procured all of the equipment online, and didn't quite get it right the first time (type of generator, bypass subpanel, etc.). Matt helped me refine what I needed, and when it came time do to the install, he did a great job. He is professional and friendly and very easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

I kept having a power failure along one wall of my kitchen. I had Matt come out. The first time he looked at it he said that on the surface everything looked okay and would need to get into the wall to see what the issue was. The second time he came out, after it happened again, he was able to trace it back to the power box. It was not obvious that it was the cause, so he had to do some detective work. He was able to determine the problem even though the problem was evasive in the beginning and got it after 2 tries. He was able to fit me into his schedule. He is exactly the person I would call if I ever had any other problems with electricity. His rates were very reasonable.

It went great! We called Comer Electric early on Monday morning 11/10/14 and was fortunate enough to be able to schedule an appointment for later the same day. Matt Comer arrived on time to install an electrical plug required for installation of a new dishwasher to code. Additionally, Matt installed 3 GFCI plug/switch combos. Matt is efficient and very professional.

On 11/01/14 I clicked on their add and sent a message to them. They asked for the best date and time for them to provide the service. I clicked on three dates all stating in the AM. I was contacted via message on 11/01/14 stating they could help me on 11/07/14 in the AM. I replied immediately that this was fine and to let me know the time. I never received any answer from them. It is now 1230 hrs and they have yet to show or contact me.

I have used him before. He is very good, very reasonable, and very responsive. He replaced a panel, and did some other wiring for me.

I originally called Matt to check out an electrical problem caused by overload to my breaker box ( old breaker box in 1950 home). The overload occured when the carpet was professionally cleaned with heavy duty equipment. The electrical outlets in several rooms in the house were dead. We scheduled for a Monday--but Matt had a family child care emergency and had to reschedule. Matt was very professional and thoughtful enough to call me to work out another time or date. We settled for a Wednesday of the same week for the new appt time. In the interim , on Tuesday I learned that the problem was simply a loose breaker in my old/outdated breaker box. The original problem was resolved. Since Matt was scheduled to come on Wedneday and had such stellar reviews , I definitely wanted to work with him to get a quote from him for replacing my breaker box with a new unit and re-wiring of my home. I also decided to have him replace a spare bedroom fan that had burned out earlier in the year. Matt came as promised and did a great job replacing the fan. He walked me through the house and clearly explained what would need to be done/ including timimg /patching //scheduling with power company, etc to replace the breaker box and do a re-wire. When I am ready to pull the trigger on doing the more extensive work--I will definitely use Matt. I think Matt was very kind in giving me a good deal on the fan replacement. Thanks Matt!

First I want to say, Matt is one of the most honest, trustworthy people I have ever met. Today he saved me $1200. I had hired a different electrical company to change out a few outlets and switches in my home. This other company blew the power in my living room, after informing me one of the outlets was burned. They went to my electrical panel, showed me a non - functioning circuit and indicated I needed a new electrical panel for $1200. I had initially agreed to have it replaced the person left and I still had no power in the living room. I felt uneasy about the situation, and decided to contact Matt as he had done other work for me in the past. He agreed to come by on Saturday and take a look. He came to my home, put in the two new outlets in the living room and informed me I now had power. I did now have power and Matt reassured me there was nothing wrong with the electrical panel. He charged me a nominal fee for his service. Being a female who lives alone I have dealt with many who try to take advantage. I can guarantee that will never happen when you work with Matt. I highly recommend Matt as not only is he honest, but the quality of his work is exceptional. He is efficient and always cleans up after his work is completed.

After calling several electricians for a quote and even scheduling an appt. I felt unsettled about the amount quoted. I made one more phone call and called Matt. He was prompt at answering my call, came to my house and gave me a quote within an hour and scheduled an appt. for the next morning. His quote was 1/2 of what the other companies that run foolish, misleading coupon ads quoted. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Matt is honest and professional. I will be using him and recommending him in the future.

After getting an estimate of $1320 from Powell electric, I contacted Comer electric and got the problem solved for $140. Powell electric proposed going under the house to re-wire and indicated that it would take about half a day to fix the problem. The problem wasn't under the house but in an external box outside the house. I called Matt Comer at 1:30 pm about the problem and it was fixed less than 4 hours later. Phone service was restored and at least $1100 was saved by getting a second estimate.

It went great. Actually, I've had Matt do a couple other projects in the past year but this is my first review. Matt is very professional & friendly, easy to get a long with. He always arrives on time and ready to work. No project is too large or too small. His prices are very reasonable - he isn't trying to get rich off you. I appreciate that. He's replaced every single outdoor sconce & light sensor on my home, including a few on the interior, about 17 in total. He's added in a new timer & electrical wiring where needed. He's capped and resolved live wires that were left during our renovations. He's resolved several switch electrical issues in the home. He always cleans up any mess that is left. He works to get the job done right, clean, resourceful and as quick as possible. I like the quality of work he does. Prior to finding & hiring Matt, we had an electrician come to do some work... and basically, what we got was uneven hallway recessed lighting, dirty finger smudge marks all over the new recessed lights and ceiling! AND literally a crooked "new" installed outlet placed way to high. They left scraps in the garage from their job. They even unloaded their fast food bags, drinks & other trash in our personal trash bin. We had to call them back to clean up their work, walls and trash. If you're looking for CLEAN, professional work at reasonable prices, please call Matt. He knows what he's doing.
