This is definitely the “go to” company in Los Angeles for air conditioning/heating (They installed a new one for me 4 years ago) and they service it twice-yearly. Frank did the latest check and like all staff at American he is so friendly, helpful, answered all questions, provided data about other services I needed (new water heater and plumbing) and had a technician out to see me within about 30 mins. Thank you Frank and Jarrod—you do your Company proud and are very service oriented towards the client too. This is appreciated

Jonas and his assistant Ben (of American AC*HEAT*PLUMBING) were extremely professional, stright forward, and, curtious. It was an eye opening experience. Quick background. I had this AC installed 6 years ago, with a lifetime maintenance and service on the unit and the company went out of business a year later. Hence to say, I haven't been keeping off with service. All that to say it was going to cost allot more than I was expecting. A few phone calls later, they got it to a price that awesome in comparison to the quoated price. They're service was excellent and highly recommended.
Description of Work: Replace the AC compressor and the starter and the other task that goes with that (filter dryer replacement and refrigerant).

Ishmael did a wonderful, professional job on getting my heating system to function correctly. He discovered the problem, fixed it and was courteous and efficient in doing so. I'm very happy with his service and hope he will be available if I need anything done in the future.
Description of Work: The heat was nothing maintaining the desired temperature in the house and he found the problem outside in the big, black box, did some rewiring and solved the problem. He also gave me advice about the amp box on the side of the house and gave me the name and number of an electrician to use to replace that box with one that has more amps, if that indeed, is the problem.

Hector Mejia is a great representative for American Air Conditioning Heat Plumbing. He located the problem and was able to take care of it in a very short period of time 👍 Hector is the right man to ask for for any reason, especially in an emergency!
Description of Work: The air and heat were being blocked when they should have just continuously flowed. Locating the problem took longer than the repair, which Hector easily handled.

American Air Condition & Heating has a lovely phone center; they made the setup of my appointment easy; they even sent the name of the Technician along with a picture before he arrived! I had the privilege of having Daryl Mayatte as my Technician. Daryl explained everything, answered my questions, and kept me informed with pictures of my system and explanations. He’s well-spoken, knowledgeable, and he’s a nice guy! Daryl was excellent, and I will recommend him!

Found safety issues and problems requiring purchase of a new furnace. pricing was a shock. My replacement cost was over 300% what was paid in 2006, a compound inflation of over 20% per year. And govt stated rates of 1.5 to 5+% for tho I those years confirms my suspicion, again, that govt is lying to us. What I paid in 2006 was $5,400, & my new comparable unit costs $16,400.
