+ -1 moreBe prepared to dine out for a week. Do this project in warm weather as you will want the windows open even at night once the painting has begun. In addition to initial de-greasing and sanding, your cabinets will receive intermediate sanding and priming before the final 2 coats of paint are applied. The cabinet doors and drawers are removed and painted off-site so you'll be able to see at a glance EVERYTHING stored in the cbinets before you empty them.
Description of Work: Carlos and Gilberto are just completing a re-painting of our kitchen cabinets and matching molding around the windows, doorway, ceiling. It's their specialty. They are very careful to keep the dust in check as much as possible. The granite countertops have been carefully covered. The job is thorough and it looks GORGEOUS! They are prompt, reliable, careful, honest about their work, diligent. I can't say enough good things about them. The kitchen cabinets and drawers had to be completely emptied for the project and that part is a drag since it took us about 1 day's worth of work, but the end result is so worth the week of no kitchen. They had shown us a sample of a cabinet door that had been painted a custom color and we asked them to mix the color for us, too. It was no problem for them. The project is being completed today. Doors and drawers are being re-installed. Appliances are being returned to their places. I'm excited to see our new kitchen and would definitely work with Carlos and Gilberto again.
