Of all the quotes I got for this project, not only was theirs the most cost effective, they were transparent with their communication and constantly updated me as the permit and job advanced. If you have a need to install an EV charger, they should 100% be your first call.

Ignacio and his son including his nephew came in to install 2 separate circuit breakers, one for my furnace and one for the washer and dryer. I have had issues with my recessed lights in the kitchen flickering when other appliances were being used including the furnace. I was worried that I might be overloading the system causing a possible fire hazard. I called for a quote from Ignacio and he came in the next day and diagnosed the problem right away. He was very accommodating and responsive to all my concerns and even told him that I can’t do weekdays and so he said he will make an exception and did the work on a Saturday. They did an awesome job and made sure everything are cleaned up before they left. His son even fixed a hole close to my outdoor faucet with the foam sealant when I requested him to do it for me. Others would have said, that’s not part of my job. I already scheduled them for another work that I need inside my garage. They will be my go to electric company from now on.

They showed up on the first day for estimate. This is a family business. The dad let the son did the estimate. Proposed a sum of money for the project or hourly based one. The son didn't look like an experienced one. Wondered if he was ever licensed. The dad took off after that and let the son there to discuss the payment options. I opted to hourly based payment. The son took a estimate fees which should be deductible to the total charge of the project if the customer agreed to proceed. He said he would come back the next day to do the project. Never came back. They kept stating reasons like being busy, getting stuck in other projects etc. and said they would come another time when I called them. Worst experience ever. Never recommend this company to anyone. Very unprofessional.

Coast Electric is experienced in installing Tesla home charger. I couldnâ t be more happier with the quality of work and service. Also had standard external outlets installed for security cams/lighting. They think outside the box to find a solution to a difficult installation issue. And to top it all up the cost is reasonable. I would hire Coast Electric again in fact I recommended them to my siblings.

I had a doorbell problem where my doorbells (both traditional and Ring) didnâ t work. I originally had used another electrical company as they were tied in with my home insurance but after coming once to assess the problem (barely) they never came back and after trying to get a hold of them multiple times and no answer I decided to do my own research and find someone reliable. My search landed me on Coast and after submitting what I needed done I got a quick response from Ignacio who was honest in his assessment of the problem based on our phone conversation and scheduled me in for a pretty fast appointment. They arrived on the day as scheduled, identified the problem, gave me a fair price, and completed the job. They actually went a step further in installing my new doorbell which I much appreciated. Very professional and considerate as they came in and out of the house and completed the work. I am very grateful I found Coast and will be using them again for any electrical problems I have. Honesty, responsiveness, professionalism, and good work are all so important in this type of work and Ignacio and the Coast crew have all of that. I highly recommend for all electrical needs...you will not be disappointed.

I was completely satisfied with Coast Electric. Ignacio, the owner was polite , well mannered, and his estimate beat other contractors. The work completed was professional and without complaint. They finished my project in 2 days which included underground digging and routing of conduit 20 ft. to my detached garage. Loved the whole result.

When reading reviews of companies, like many, I'm skeptical of the information... is it real... can they really be this professional? Well, the verdict is in on Coast Electric Company. They are truly the most terrific team of electrical contractors in the business. There are many reasons Ignacio and his son Jonathan are incredible, but we will start with what is most important to me. They are really good people. Just as human beings, I felt very comfortable with them in my new home and it almost felt like family. They worked tirelessly in my home for about a week and I felt incredibly comfortable leaving them the keys to my home. As a parent with 5 young children, I also felt comfortable letting my kids be around the team. It was like having family over. In terms of their work, it is second to none. We purchased light fixtures that were incredibly puzzling to install because we have no attic, but they found a way to make it look beautiful. We had a full panel upgrade and Ignacio was kind enough to go to the city and pull the permits very quickly. The team went far and above what I had originally asked them to do, but they stayed true to the original price quoted. I'm not one to write reviews, but this company truly deserves it. I will invite them for our first get together so they can admire the amazing work they did and so we could show our appreciation.
