Ace missed date and time for diagnostic visit. Turned up the following day. Suggested costly repair, which was a good part of the price for a new unit. We decided avoid repairing the old unit and purchased a new Bosch and couldn t be happier.
Description of Work: Dishwasher stopped working. Contacted Ace for a diagnostic call and set a time and date. Ace missed the date and time. The following day Ace first suggested costly repair. Cost of repairs was % 65 of the cost of a new appliance. We decided to purchase a new appliamce. Very happy with the Bosch.

I called to make an appointment and the service man was able to come to my house within one hour. Instead of just charging me to refill the freon, he was able to determine that the fridge is no longer serviceable and described what would have caused the problem. Apparantly a different service company had replaced the compresser with a cheaper none compatible one to get the fridge working, which caused the internal system to go bad in a couple years. I knew there was a $50 trip fee and that's what I paid.
Description of Work: I asked for a repair on our subzero fridge that stopped being cold.

Ace Appliance sent someone out to service my LG fridge within two hours! While he was not able to immediately fix the problem, he was able to get it working so that my food and medications were kept cold until the part was sent. When the part came in, he came to repair it on time. He used my previous payment as a credit against the new part, even though he had done some work to get it going the week prior. (Very unusual and very welcomed.) He cautioned me that because there are so many electronic parts, he had ordered the most common part to fail. He had me keep the old part in the event it did not work. Well it worked for a day and then died. He told me he would order the parts and what to do to make the fridge "think" it was working. When the final part came in, he showed up 30 minutes early. (Yes folks, early.) He put the old part back in (since we knew that was working) and credited me for it. The fix was done within the amount of time that he promised and it's been working ever since. I would definitely recommend them to my Angie's list friends
