+ 0 moreI called Dave for a kitchen sink that kept backing up, even though the p-trap was clear. I had sent an email through his website, but when there was no response after a day I called the office number. His wife Martha responded promptly and we arranged a morning time for the visit. Morning passed and no Dave. I called Martha again, she said he was running overtime on another job but would be there in the afternoon. By 5 PM, there was still no Dave and no phone call. I called Martha again, and she called back saying they were sorry, but would definitely be there the next day. Dave (and Martha) arrived about 11 AM, and Dave got right to work. The work was completed in under an hour and to my complete satisfaction. I was especially pleased that he explained the problem thoroughly, and explained how to maintain the system instead of recommending replumbing (which would have made a lot more money for him). I think he's a very good old-fashioned plumber who knows his trade, and very honest. The price was great for the amount of work. The only complaint I have is that communications weren't great, which was a nuisance as I had a friend visiting and wanted to schedule some activities. But I'm still very happy overall and will definitely call Dave again if the need arises. He and Martha are both very pleasant and I felt comfortable dealing with them.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. They had to do several things. They were just very professional and they got it done the first time so it's pretty good. It was a very good price. They were here as soon as I called them. They were here like the next day. They were very professional and they got the job done. They just came in, did the job and left.
Description of Work: I used Dave's Drain Cleaning & Plumbing about two weeks ago to change some outside faucets that we couldn't open anymore. They also replaced a flapper valve in the toilet as well as put in a new hot and cold valve in the shower.

+ 0 moreFirst they tried a less costly approach that ultimately did not work. This required about two hours work for which I was subsequently not charged. Called them back about a week later and they did a more extensive repair this time, but only charged me for this portion of the work.
Description of Work: Toilet was rocking and could not be tightened. Cement work and a new steel ring was required to stabilize the toilet. Also opted for a new toilet ($250.00) to replace the cheap one installed by the builder. Total labor was approximately $250.00.
