+ -1 moreThe owner was able to provide same-day service call. Repaired door in a short period of time. When he was finished, original automatic door opener was working!!!! Didn't need a new one - the GFI was tripped in the garage cutting off the power to the opener!!!!!....all for their minimum service call fee (which was reasonable)!
Description of Work: Cable on garage door was tangled - could not open door. Also wanted a bid for a new automatic garage door opener.

Description of Work: They installed new opener and replaced rollers and refurbished door and track. The opener started to make noise months after installation and they came out immediately to check problem and fixed.

Description of Work: I'd give A+ if it were an option. Our garage door came off track late morning and I called Grover Beach Door. I liked that it was a local, family run business. The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice, and the owner arrived later that day and fixed the problem same day. Very professional, price was reasonable, and I'd definitely call them again.

+ -1 moreThey came out within 40 minutes. They are a family owned business. They are very nice, honest, responsive and do such a good job! They also do a yearly service for me. I have been a customer with them for almost 20 years.
Description of Work: I had jammed my garage door because I left something in the way. It was not lining up properly. This was very last minute in the day at the end of the business day.

I don't think that Grover Beach Door is as cheap as some of the really cheap doors you see in the clipper ads, but you will get a quality product and Shawn (the owner) seems to be one of the most honest, genuine people out there. I trusted him and enjoyed him -- that is why I bought from him. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for anyone looking to spruce up their garage doors.
Description of Work: We had an old garage door in the swing style that was ugly, dangerous, and loud. We called Grover Beach Door to get a bid on a new garage door for our 2 car garage. As soon as they had inventory (Martin Door isn't open to vendors between Christmas and New Years) Shawn was out at our house to install the door. It went up quick, it is a sharp looking door, and paired with a new belt drive garage door opener it opens with a whisper.

+ -1 moreShawn arrived on time, was friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, offered two solutions (repair-less expensive/replace-costly). When I said to repair he went right to work and was done soon, despite my husband talking to him. He even showed us how to close the door when if it would break again or the electricity would go out. Additionally, the Grover Beach Door company worked us in to their schedule so that we were taken care of quickly and didn't have to wait. Since I was concerned over the security of not being able to lock the garage door, this was much appreciated. Great job!!
