Very unprofessional! While discussing a job with owner, Dan, he tried to charge $750 for a toilet install and I found another plumber for the exact same service, toilet and all, for $300 in 2022. He proceeded to call me names.

Tim came out and repaired our broken shower mixer and kitchen faucet flow. While he was there he also did some repairs on the toilets. The service was excellent.

Perfect! Meticulous work and perfect results. This was a tough install in existing shower space with existing copper. Plumber worked nonstop for 3 hours. Had I done the project, it would have taken me 3 full days, and I wouldn't have done as good a job!

Found Folkrod on Angieslist and gave them the opportunity to bid. Their bid of $4,100 was competitive with others, but I selected them because of owner Tim's understanding of the job and his associated suggestions. Once given the work, it was scheduled within a week and completed a week later. The scope of work was increased slightly thus reflected in the increased final cost. All work was done professionally and with the best of materials. I was very satisfied with all aspects of my interaction with Folkrod Plumbing.

This was my second use of Folkrod Plumbing in 3 weeks. The first event was a clogged main drain line. I am new to the area and picked Folkrod Plumbing based upon others reviews. I had a plumber at my door in less than 30 minutes after calling. The drain line was cleared within an hour. The plumber, Tavis, was professional, thorough, and pleasant. 3 weeks later, I discovered 2 leaks in my waterline. I contacted Folkrod Plumbing once again. I was pleasantly surprised when Tim arrived at my door as soon as he was finished with a previous appointment. Tavis once again arrived to handle the job. I asked if it would be possible to handle a few other plumbing issues while he was here. Tavis handled the leaks and all my other requests quickly and efficiently. It is obvious that Tavis enjoys his job, takes pride in his work, and he takes great care in leaving the area clean. I am a Folkrod customer for life.

Extremely quick response time. Took less than 30 minutes from initial contact until I had a plumber at my door! Tavis was professional, neat, and pleasant. I have just closed escrow so I was nervous about why my toilets were bubbling. Tavis snaked my main drain line and the problem gone. The price was reasonable. I will definitely use this company again.

He rushed up since the water was flowing down the street. He made an exception and reached here right away. He is pretty expensive, but he is excellent.

It was challenging and he explained everything he was doing. He arrived about 3 hours after we called, which we feel was very responsive. The cost reflected nearly 2 hours of work and we felt it was fair. We definitely would call them again.

This is not the first time nor only property Tim at Folkrod has helped us with. Tim and his staff are professionals. The best asset Folkrod plumbing has (besides thorough plumbing knowledge) is excellent reliability. I've always been able to get a quick response and fast turnaround time for all jobs we've sent their way. Tim also has a well trained staff. Folkrod is not a bargain plumber, but if you want reliability and professional work, I recommend them without reservation for home or commercial work.

The showerheads and faucet were excellent choices which I had Folkrod pick. Istallation went well and handled everything great. They will now be my plumbing service well into the future.

Cost was less than originally quoted. They charge by time and materials and because the job was easier than expected the bill was less. They were very professional throughout.

Called office at 5:04 PM Friday afternoon to schedule appointment, technician Travis arrived at 10 AM Monday morning after calling first. He had valve replaced within an hour. Travis explained what he was doing and why.

I have used Folkrod Plumbing for many, many years. I have always trusted their service, pricing and professionalism. This time our sink was leaking and it turned out to be the garbage disposal. The technician offered choices, so we were able to obtain the best disposal for our price range. We opted for the best they had. He could have ordered one that was potentially better, but the price for the value was not there. They arrive on time, are knowledgeable and explained the problem and the solutions. I have never been disappointed when using Folkrod Plumbing.

All went well. Travis (plumber) was punctual, prepared and worked efficiently in replacing our water heater. He thoroughly cleaned up after himself and took our old water heater away.

We were very fortunate to have found Tim right after we moved to Arroyo Grande. Everything about him is an A and that is rare. We used to live in a town where a good plumber was difficult to find. Tim responds right away, he is an excellent plumber, and his fees are reasonable. We know he may retire in the near future and we hope the person he may sell the business to has Tim's ethics, expertise, and great response time.

Everything went well. He was prompt and professional. He determined the leak was not the wax oring as I thought and that the toilet itself was secure. The issue was that the bolts inside the tank were loose so he tightned them. He also pointed out that the flapper was worn out and would become a problem soon. I had him replace that as well as I prefer keeping things in working order instead of waiting for them to be a problem. Travis (plumber) was quick, efficient and well spoken. I will definitely use his services again.

Upon removing the toilet, he discovered the base ring was too high. He removed that ring, installed a new ring at proper highth, and installed the toilet properly. He charged us for 2.25 labor after subtracting 1/2 hour for lunch. After he left, except for a working toilet, you could not tell that anyone had been here.

Tim was able to remove the a cartridge that had been in place for more than 15 years and not easy to take out. He was very careful and used the appropriate tools and knew how to do the job in a very short time. I would definitely call him again without hesitation.
