Mary Margaretich

Real estate agents often give gifts to clients when they buy a house. It is not so common for clients to give gifts to real estate agents, and we had never done this before. But we did with Mary Margaretich, because she is a great real estate agent. She went beyond what we expected from an agent. Our real estate agent in L.A. and helped us find the best agent in Grass Valley / Nevada City area. He found Mary. When you go into her office, she has plaque after plaque of "Voted Best Real Estate Agent of the Year" on the wall behind her. And after working with her, it became obvious why she had so many awards. She was always easy to reach--responding to any text or call right away. She responded rapidly to all our questions, and we could always trust her answers. She is very knowledgeable about the area and helped us get a good price on the place we eventually bought. She could tell that the price-per-square-foot for the house was high for this area, and said that we could probably get it for six to twelve percent less. We got it for twelve percent less. She also keeps an up-to-date list of excellent local contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC people, landscapers, etc. that we rely on now that we've moved in. We can't recommend Mary highly enough.
