A D FLOORING

There were problems right away – including large gaps between walls & laminate flooring and a large lump in the living room where there is a seam in the carpet. Chrissy from A D Flooring would not send anyone out to look at the problems but assured us that the lump was temporary, would smooth out and we should wait a few weeks to see if that resolved itself. We were irritated as we felt she was blowing us off. The lump never resolved itself. Now carpet is bunching up in several places, even obstructing door operation. The linoleum is curling up where it meets the carpet in both the kitchen & bathroom. There are large gaps between the laminate plank and the walls – past the baseboards where it is noticeable. Contacted Chrissy at A D Flooring on 8/8/2011 to try to get someone out to look at worsening problems. She said that it was normal for carpet to need stretching after a couple of years, although information from other professionals & the internet seems to indicate poor/improper installation. Warranty and/or additional fees were never discussed – we just wanted to resolve the problems. Chrissy agreed to take a look at the flooring. We made appointments 3 times. The first two times Chrissy did not show up and did not call. The third time she said she would call half an hour before arriving sometime that day. We waited all day. She did not show up or call. We’ve lost faith in her/A D Flooring’s integrity & have made no further attempt to contact them. Due to what we feel were poor installation procedures & refusal to even look at the issues of concern we do NOT recommend A D Flooring.
