Description of Work: If this is the pool company owned by Michael Chaffee aka epoolscapes.com then do not hire this company. It has been a nightmare. Micheal Chaffee basically is everything you do NOT want in a contractor of any kind. When we started having to contact Michael about problems he started having his wife, jeaneen, respond to us. When we detected a gas leak after his guy hooked up propane to the new pool heater, we never got a call back from him. So much more, but I will tell you the worst of it all, after giving the last payment to his wife(not Michael because he never showed his face at our house after his attempt to make better his none response to the gas leak), their guy said he had to set the new pool equipment to run for 3 WEEKS without a skimmer, without the bottom drains working! So we have paid for a pool completely, then had a pool with crap in the deep end of the pool & dead bugs floating around throughout the water AND onto of the water! Even with us brushing the plaster everyday & doing our best to use the net to clear off the debris & more dead bugs from the top of the water, this guy says he will be back from HAWAII on 5/11/12 to set the pool equipment to run as it should be set for keeping the pool clean! Nowhere in the User guide for the sand filter or the pump says to run the equipment like this for 3 WEEKS! So 5/11/12 has come and the day is practically over and he was a no show! Why were we surprised?! WE DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT recommend this pool contractor(company) owned by Michael Chaffee! He & his propane guy are both very condesending in their attitude toward us & others we have now read about on www.yelp.com.
