Our real estate agent made some calls to quickly get a pool inspector out to a property that we were buying to do a full inspection after the home inspector noticed some cracks in the in-ground spa. Dynamic Services was one of the few call backs our agent received. In the interest of time, they agreed to come out two days later and do the inspection. We made it VERY clear how quickly we needed an inspection performed and a report generated due to a quickly approaching close of escrow on the property. The owner, Nick Chaffee, spoke directly to my agent and said he would be there to perform the inspection. When he wasn't on time, our agent called to see where he was and told my agent "we're" almost there...well, Nick wasn't there at all. He sent a young employee to perform the inspection and had this employee upload photos to Nick who said, after we questioned why he wasn't physically there, that he was generating the report simultaneously with the employees' mobile input. First red flag we were dumb enough not to act upon. Nick then told my agent he was working on the report and would have it to him by the end of the same day. When we didn't see a report, we called. Then we texted. Then we called again. And again. And again. We didn't have a report in our hands until three days later. At that point it was too late to even use. The report we DID get, was so poor, my kids could have done a better job. It was piecemealed, unprofessional, actually embarrassing. The more we balked over it, the more revisions and photos he kept adding. It was awful... Lesson learned here...even if you're in a hurry to get something done, take the time to research everyone you call. After dealing with the guy in our many attempts to get what we paid for, I took a moment to do some online research on him and, *whoa*, found all sorts of very negative feedback on his company. Saw many bad reviews dealing with much of the same issues we were having with him...unresponsiveness, not following through on business promises, inadequate work, contentious, etc. Should always research these people!!

They were terrible. The guy I was working with was Nicholas Chaffee. I called on a Monday and told him what was going on, and the guy said that they would be out either on Monday or Tuesday. I went on line, I told them what I needed and requested things. They have this huge thing on line where they commit to come out. I was late on Monday, so I called them, and he said that they would be out the next day, and he gave me a time frame. Tuesday came and they did not show up, so I called him again, and he said that they couldn’t make it that day, and they would come out on Thursday for sure. He also said that if they couldn’t make it, he would call. Thursday came, and I was waiting and waiting, then I called and left a message. Then I called again, and a lady answered. I told her that they were supposed to come out, but she said that she couldn’t see my name at all there anywhere. I finally got him, and he said that they had been really busy, and that he guaranteed they would come out on Friday. I told him not to bother. I told him that I had waited a whole week, and common courtesy is that if he couldn’t do it he shouldn’t accept the job. He said that they had to be loyal to their regular customers. I had called other people too, but they were too busy and couldn’t come out, and they were honest about it. He said that they would be in the area and that they would do the job, but I had to go on line and sign this thing. I called him back and told him that I wanted to be removed from that, I didn’t want to be under obligation for something that didn’t happen. Then he sent me an email and removed me. I told him that I was going to report him to Angie’s List, and he said that he was sorry I felt that way. I was very patient with him and I understand that everyone has issues, but he should have called and told me what problems he had and why he couldn’t make it. But he kept on making appointment after appointment. So I didn’t get anybody to do the job, I went ahead and bought a vacuum hose, and did the job myself.
Description of Work: I had a problem with my pool, and I called Dynamic Services. What I wanted was what they called a light green treatment, one chemical visit, total cleaning and vacuum for $150.
