It took a while for them to provide an estimate. As it ended up, I used a person that I had previously used from Angie's list. I had a Living Social coupon that I was trying to redeem but they (Living Social) had messed up the special that was actually being offered. Wiseman's has been trying to get LS to clear up the discrepancies but have been unsuccessful. It was not their fault as to the misrepresentation, however I now have an expired coupon that is not redeemable. I have not yet used Wiseman's service to date but they seem to be very experienced in their line of work.

I purchased a Living Social coupon that offered 500.00 worth of work for $39.00. To good to be true? Evidently. When I finally got someone to return my call and I told them what I needed done (Lights installed and some wiring added to my home) I was told they were not a handyman service, I then added I wanted french doors installed and my patio covered. I set up an appointment and they were an hour late. The owner, Ryan, came to my home to look at the jobs I wanted done and told me I could use the living social coupon on the whole job or either part and would send me a quote. He was very nice and professional while at the house. When I got the quote from Phil it was for the 2 jobs combined (I took the electrical out of the job even though to me that was a home improvement). I asked him to break the 2 projects down and when he sent it to me he said I couldn't use the living social coupon on only one project, I could only use it on both. In part I understand where they are coming from but in the Living Social coupon it didn't give a limit on the amount of work that was required. Would I have used the coupon on one of the projects, yes. Will I at this point? NO! I believe they would have done a very nice job but am so dissappointed in their professionalism. I wish I could comment on the quality of their work but would not use this company ever at this point.

Ryan knows his stuff!!! His workmanship is excellent. He knew exactly what he was doing and was done in less than an hour. He cleaned up beautifully. His price was less than everyone else's. I was so impressed I had him look at a bathroom project I was planning to do. I would not hesitate to hire him again and would refer him in a heartbeat!

We have a beautiful new bathroom thanks to Wiseman's Home Improvement. Tile had fallen from bathtub surround - water damage. The job was more complicated than just replacing the tile. Phil gave us two reasonable bids, one for just the tub and surround walls, the other for the entire bathroom. There were several existing features in the bathroom that we had lived with but didn't particularly like so we decided on full replacement. Phil did the majority of the work - Ryan and others also were involved. We were kept well-informed of the process/progress of the project. In about a week, the bathroom was finished -- and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Definitely a positive experience. They are hardworking and do a wonderful job. We look forward to working with them again.

Sherry Hooko from Wiseman's was on time for our appointment for the estimate. She was very thorough with the estimate and brought my attention to several legal things I should keep in mind when I had reno's to be done! I had originally contacted them due to a Living Social coupon I had purchased. I was happy to see they were also a part of Angie's list. The LS coupon however had grossly misrepresented what was being offered by Wiseman's. They were very gracious about the error but I will not trust LS in the future and will directly contact the company before I purchase any LS coupon for services again! I did not use Wiseman's at this time as I recieved a lower bid and my buget for my renovations was critical. Wiseman's did offer me a lower price, trying to work more in my budget but it was still too high. All, in all, Sherry left me with a very favorable impression and if possible I may work with them in the future on another project.

Overall, he did a great job doing the work, which had some trickiness due to the pitch of my roof lines. All the work was completed on time and actually came in under the original estimate (that was a first!).
