I called US Appliance Repair today, the 14th of December for a service call to find out why my washer was leaking on the floor. The phone was answered right away and I gave Jack the details and he said he would call back in 20 minutes to tell me who would be coming out today. He did call back and we had an appointment with Boris who was really detailed about the problem and took the washer apart and checked all the parts. Turns out it was a plumbing problem and not an appliance repair. He gave us solid info and it was worth the $45.00 for all the info we got from him. We would definitely use this provider again in the future.

I called the afternoon before Thanksgiving expecting the oven was not going to be fixed until after the holiday. To my surprise, Julia in the office was able to dispatch someone that evening and got the oven working again!

Mike was on time and fix frig in only 30 minutes.

Great, Mike is very knowledgeable and efficient.

It was simple, he looked at the back of the Refrigerator and could tell the compressor was dead. Advised me that it would be better to buy a new one than repair the refrigerator. It costs $25 for the diagnostic, I thanked him for his service and he left.

I failed to write a review at the time of service and cannot recollect the details including what we paid, or even what the service call was for. (I cannot recall if service was for our washer or dryer.) However, I was pleased with the service and would call this provider again.

After a tech from another company failed to fix a fridge leak after 3 visits. Mike fixed it on the 1st visit. I will now use Angie's List because of the good service from Mike.

A pleasant surprise, an honest repairman. A $45 bill. Mike was superb. We just had frost that shorted the switch.

The first place I called wouldn't be able to come out for 2 days, but US Standard was able to give me same-day service. Repairman was friendly and courteous. He explained everything and showed me exactly what was causing the problem. He had to order a part, but came back at 8 am to finish the job. He cleaned after he was finished, and he explained how to maintain my dishwasher for better performance. I will definitely use them again.

Refrigerator wasn't cooling enough. Motor came on and off. He replaced the motor and computer. He was an excellent repair man. His company is my new favorite.

The service person was on time and fixed the problem promptly. Overall, service was good. I didn't love the gentleman's social skills approach. He appeared a bit abrasive. Regret approving the cost. With more time to think about it, I would have checked further pricing estimates.

Jack let me know what time he was going to be here and he showed up on time. He explained what needed to be done in detail and fixed everything quickly. It's working Great!

The services were good. The tech was knowledgeable and explained the problem.

The service representative was very professional and focused. He determined the problem quickly, ordered the part and returned the next day to install the new transmission. He then ran the washer a couple of times to make sure everything worked perfectly. The machine runs better than it has in a while, isn't as noisy (though it was always a noisy machine), and the electrical burning smell is gone. David, the service representative, said the transmission problem was preventing the water from draining completely before the spin cycle, thus creating a burden on the motor, hence the burning smell. The part was expensive, but that was not a reflection on US Standard's fee, otherwise I would have put a B rating on "Price." I was very pleased with the work and would definitely call US Standard next time I need a large appliance repair.

Mike showed up on time, diagnosed the problem with our freezer and had the replacement part in his truck. Mike is very professional, explained what was wrong with the freezer and what needed to be done. We are very pleased with the customer service provided by U.S. Standard, their prices are very fair and we have already referred them to a neighbor. This is the ONLY appliance repair company that you will need. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

We all know how hard it is to find good people to work in our homes -- you never know what you're going to get, you might get ripped off, etc, etc. Well... if you need ANY kind of appliance repaired, LOOK NO FURTHER than US Standard. This family-owned business does EVERYTHING right. They're knowledgeable, professional, smart, responsible, polite, and best of all... you can call them ONCE, the job is done RIGHT and you can get on with your life. I do handyman work myself, almost exclusively for elderly people, and I KNOW that when I call in US Standard (which I have done may times) my clients are in good, safe honest hands. I can't recommend them enough!
