Description of Work: We had the entire home remodeled taking the interior down to the studs. Changed doors into windows. Reconfigured rooms, replaced walls, new bathrooms, new tile throughout. New A/C moved from entry hall to attic. New kitchen, added steam bath in onyx. Painted exterior two coats, walls and ceilings (20 ft.). All work done in a very professional manner. Great workers. On time. Excellent to work with Tito and company. This was our 3rd complete re-do over last 8 years.

Description of Work: We hired Tito Alcaraz Painting and Repair to paint the interior of our home (built 1925). We needed not only the walls and ceilings painted but we had floors that were in bad shape and a cement floor that we wanted distressed and sealed. There was also walls that needed to be repaired, base boards that were missing and spots with water damage that needed attention. We needed the job done quickly and Tito Alcaraz gave us a quote and a time frame in which the work could be done.

Description of Work: It was a pleasure working with Tito and his crew. They estimated it would take 8-10 days and they were done in 10 days. Tito repainted all interior of the home, including kitchen and bathroom cabinets. It was very easy to keep in contact with Tito during the process via phone text and email. He confirmed all paint colors before painting them on the walls/cabinets. After it was complete they came back and did a few touch ups after the move which was nice too. I would recommend Tito and his crew and would use them again if I needed to. Not only were they responsible and made sure to cover the entire floors, stairs they were very friendly too. Thanks Tito.

Description of Work: Hide speaker wires for Home Theater system behind crown molding in Family Room and patch and paint to match existing colors. While this seems like a simple job, the only way to accomplish it was to partially remove the crown molding, run the wires and then re-nail, patch and paint to match. Now the wires are completely hidden and not seeing them looks great.

Description of Work: They painted the nursery. We had started the molding and baseboards, but they still needed to be caulked, spackled, and sanded. We had the room done in one color and the baseboards, molding, and ceiling in white.

Description of Work: Tito and company remodeled our ugly black marble 'funerial' fireplaces and transformed them into art! The fireplaces occupy a 30 feet high wall in large rooms. We wanted a simple, modern, rustic look with a hearth to match. Tito was patient with us as we thumbed through many magazines to find 'the look' that we wanted. The 'look' he created is incredible and better than the magazine picture! It is layered plaster and concrete and the final coat is a concrete color finish - the finish is almost like you would find with venetian plaster, but more subtle and more modern and nicer in my opinion. Very creative. The hearth is concrete industrial look - about 3 inches from the floor and in a darker more uniform color. The color overall - shades of earth/sand.We will have Tito and company lay down a reclaimed wood floor - 700 square feet in the front rooms, next week. And, then later have the interior painted to showcase our incredible fireplaces.

Description of Work: He has painted my fine rental units in Granada Hills and he did a very great job. He also painted my house and my sons house this year, removed my kitchen wallpaper, repainted my kitchen, patched a hole in my bathroom and repainted my bathroom after patching the holes. As always I get a wonderful, clean, and quick job from him.

Description of Work: I have used Tito Alcaraz Painting services five times over the past 13 years for major outside and inside painting and repair projects on my residence and rental houses. Each time he has done a fine job at competitive prices. He pays a great deal of attention to details. As an example he always removes electric plug and wall switch covers before painting; he always covers and protects surfaces (masks) by covering everything not being painted with plastic and / or masking paper. When he painted ouside he put he placed taped brown paper on the concrete to prevent staing the concrete. Last month he did a beautiful job of refinishing our kitchen cabinets (a 4 day job) and painting the kitchen walls. He also stained and repainted the covered rear wood patio, stuccoed four patio 8 foot vertical posts, painted an outside wood wall and replaced some rotted facial boards on the eves of the roof. He replaced a wood garage side door and a wood gate. All of the outside painted surfaces were power washed which gave the outside of the house a fresh painted look. I give him an "A" for all the work.

Description of Work: Tito and his crew of guys were extremely professional and did a great job. We were moving to a house that needed to be painted inside and outside and we have 2 babies so timing and keeping on schedule was very important to us - Tito and his guys worked diligently to get the inside of the house painted on schedule so that we could move in on time. They were thorough in their work and paid attention to detail. His guys were very helpful and professional and we had them do crown molding as well as painting. On the ouside they powerwashed the house and stained the garage doors - if something was not perfect they came back and fixed it without any questions. I would strongly recommend them and would use them again.

Description of Work: Painted interior of house a couple of years ago and we wanted to change the color in a couple of rooms, so we called them back. This time they painted a few rooms inside and did the exterior of the house, stripped the chimney and did a special finish on it, treated termite damage, replaced screens, and built exterior wood columns at entry.

Description of Work: 1. Back Patio: Replace the back patio with new wood , reinforce the structure and painted. Remove all (50) 2" x 4' cross beams and install all new beams. Replaced (8) 2" x 6" x 8" vertical boards surrounding 4" x 4 support beams, replaced two of these support beams. Replaced (3) 2" x 6" vertical beams that support the 2" 4" beams. Replaced (2) 4: x 10" x 16' Columns, prep and painted entire wood patio. 2. House wood trim, including sand fascia boards,eaves,foors, and sidings. Powerwash entire house, prep all wood trim and painted. Fixed cracks on stucco toucjh up stucco as needed. Also painted the garage doors and iron gate door. 3. Remove 6 bulky protruding wood beam (water damage, dry rot), patch hole to match existing stucco. Also removed wood planter in front of house and installed a new Planter. 4.Clean up after all work was done and remove all trash.

Description of Work: Tito and his crew painted our entire condo complex (16 units) in 2009 - cost was around $20,000. Since that time he has come to wash the building and do touch-ups.

Description of Work: Kitchen - Demo to remove laminate kitchen and bar counters and installed new granite, patched and painted a couple of accent walls. Bathroom - Removed old vanity, wall tile, mirror and flooring and installed new ceramic floor tile as well as vanity, sink & mirror. Repaired and refinished bathtub and painted bathroom walls.

Description of Work: We had hardie board (cement product) put on the exterior or our home, to replace our wood siding, and shingles on the upper sides of our home. I had investigated this product as it does not fade, is termite proof and virtually lasts a lifetime. When the work began Tito recommended insulating the exterior of our home and replaced the tar paper with Tyvek. He also repainted the exterior of the entire house. I had looked into contractors recommended by Home Depot that were at minimum 30% higher just for the installation. I looked at other homes where Tito had done this kind of work and loved the look and his references.He is wonderful to work with, if I wasn't happy he wasn't happy.
