Originally I thought that the computer was infested with viruses. There was also a problem with the computer going to the BIOS screen after I turned it on. The owner, Victor Fermanian, quoted me $95 for virus removal, which was also on the store's sign. He informed me the next day that the hard drive was bad and that the total was now $145. When I got it home, the computer would still go to the BIOS screen after I turned it on. I called him and asked why the BIOS screen still came up after $145 had been paid to replace the hard drive. He told me that he didn't have that problem when he turned it on, but told me to return the computer. I returned it; he told me that a $3 battery had burned out and had to be replaced. WHY DIDN'T HE DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE AND SAVE ME THE EXTRA TRIP???? He had his technician replace the battery free of charge, and I went home. I noticed over the next day that the computer was running very slowly and constantly freezing. I called Victor back and he said to bring it in. I brought it back. The next day he revealed to me that he had installed two antivirus softwares, without being asked, and that they took up a lot of RAM which slowed down the computer. He added more RAM so that the computer would stop freezing up. SO IT TOOK THREE TRIPS TO THIS VENDOR WHICH SHOULD HAVE JUST TAKEN ONE TRIP. I will not use this vendor again. YOU SHOULD NOT USE SALCO EITHER. VERY CARELESS AND SLOPPY WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

Victor is the point person I deal with. They give free estimates. They gave advice as to whether it's even a proper investment to do the repair. They are very courteous and good people to do business with.
