Preferred Garage Door

Description of Work: Dan called to let me know what time he would arrive at my home and arrived right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my wood garage door. The springs were old and needed to be replaced, which he did using a heavier gauge spring on each side. Then he removed the 2 smaller springs which were also old, and replaced them with 2 new ones that I had on hand. He also added an extra metal brace for additional stability. Now my garage door is so quiet I actually have to turn around and look to make sure it went up because there is no noise to tell me. haha I love it!! I can't remember when it worked this well but it probably never has. Dan was a friendly, neat and comfortable person to have in my home and would have him back anytime. He even carried a large bottle of water into the house for me and put it on the watercooler stand. Thanks Dan. I highly recommend Preferred Garage Door service and Dan is great. I don't know about the price. It seemed like alot to pay, but I have nothing to compare it to, so gave it a B. It was still worth every penny.

Description of Work: My two-car garage door had broken; the metal frame holding the door had broken in two. I thought I'd have to replace the entire door at very substantial cost; but the repairman from Precision figured out a way to fix it, and also solved the underlying problem which had caused the frame to break in the first place. The door works far better now than it did before the original break occurred. Incredibly, the repairman did this in less than an hour and charged me $75 for the job (about what I would have expected to pay just for an estimate). I was highly impressed.
