I was afraid this job may be too small for the electrician, but it was treated with the same importance and attention as any major repair would have been. It took a little longer than I expected to have someone come out, but well worth the wait. This company also makes customer service a priority like no other business I have ever dealt with. Their service commitments and standards (which were reviewed with me when I first called to schedule the repair) were reviewed with us again when the electrician showed up to do the work. You will be tempted to question if this is genuine, but I can assure you that this commitment to customers resonates throughout this company from the person who answers the phone, to the person who calls to confirm the appointment, to the person who shows up to perform the work. It was a very impressive and reasonably priced experience. Whatever electrical needs we may have in the future, Accurate Electrical will be called first. It's a service experience you won't expect and won't forget. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

Disappointed in the mis-information by the after hours answering service. Spoke at length about the need, phone #s, email etc. Didn't get a call in the morning because of erroneous note taking. When I called to check in, there were no available electricians. Understandable, but the answering service had offered two different time slots and indicated that we would be getting a call in the morning to confirm the time. Now left to search for someone available to help out an anxious, older family member. These things happen but best to ask the answering service not to commit to keep expectations in line.

We booked an electrician with Accurate Electrical Services to repair some electrical problems we were having. The company was incredibly responsive, sending us updates when the Electrician would arrive. When the truck came two neatly uniformed electricians, Mike and Joe, politely greeted me, covered their workboots with indoor sock booties and sat down to explain the various repair options available, thoroughly covering their approach to investigation, testing and repair, and our financial exposure in various scenarios. We agreed to a plan, I showed them the breaker box and they quickly got to work. Mike explained wattage, amperage, and current flows with impressive technical acumen. When the repair was done they figured the bill to a very reasonable amount and gave a further Angie's List discount. Accurate was great; they are a throwback to a bygone era of professional service.

Awesome!I honestly thought I had been transported back to a time when customer service was an important part of any service provided. Quite often when you have any kind of work done in this day and age, you get unclear appointment times, no shows, incomplete or shoddy work, or installations and repairs that seem to take forever. I am often hesitant to have work done because of the fear of getting unprofessional services. Not with Accurate Electrical Services and Eric! Eric showed up on time, was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. At the initial estimate he gave me several options for what I wanted and answered any questions I had. The day of the installation, he show up right on time, the work was done quickly and neatly. No after mess to clean up and the lights are perfect. I will be calling very soon to have some work done at my parents home. It's good to know that I have such a solid resource. Can't say enough good things...

Eric and Mike came out and explained my options to me. They were some of the nicest young men I have ever met and really did their company proud. After we discussed what direction to go, they set to work. They replaced the switch, cans and lighting and took the front off my electrical panel to make sure it was ok. They even went to the hardware store to purchase the materials I needed that they did not have on the truck. All in all, the experience was extremely pleasant and I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone needing efficient, clean and courteous service

Eric was very knowledgeable and explained every aspect of what he needed to do to complete the job.

The guys at accurate electrical services did a great job. Eric was the lead electrician on my job. He was very professional, polite, and very competent in doing his job. If you want the job done right, and on time I would absolutely recommend accurate electrical to you.

home was old (pre-1975) w/ the old panel that did not have ground. electrician took an entire afternoon to help replace and run line through neighboring condo. thanks!

Overall, we'll see if it was fixed appropriately. There is only a three-month guarantee. I would look farther down the list next time and not stop at the beginning of the alphabet. I am writing this review because if we do not follow up with bad reviews, when we feel it is warranted, there will be no reason to use Angie's List.

It took a long time to diagnose the problem. Our technician was very professional and kind. Everyone was very nice to work with, from the owner to the office staff to the technician.

They gave me a good break on the price. He was very straight forward guy. The project took some time.

Angie's List recommended Accurate Electrical Services as a well established company that provided good professional service and we weren't disappointed. The service technician was great! His pleasant attitude, professionalism and detailed work ethic was much more than we expected. His troubleshooting allowed us to avoid potential issues that might arise in the future, and for us that is key to good home maintanence. We are pleased with the quality of his work and would call on Accurate Electrical Services in the future.

I purchased an old 1932 home of ~1700 sq ft.that had a lot of knob and tube and needed a complete rewire of the home. Through Angies List, emailed Accurate and received a response quickly. I was then contacted by Eric and made an appointment for a quote. Eric was very professional and thoroughly inspected the home and provided a quote the next day. The price was very high. But because of Eric's professionalism and knowledge, I chose Accurate to do the work. I explained to Eric that quality of work was foremost in priority, but also complying with city code and my time constraint were high in priority as well. Eric assured me that he would do his best and also explained all that a rewire would entail including the patching that would be needed.Eric and his crew arrived on time and proceeded to work the next week even on Saturday's to ensure the job was done in time. I had brick walls that needed to be cut and his crew did a fanstastic job in keeping the cutting/holes to a minimum. They ran wire throughout the home in attic/crawlspace/walls, installed all new outlets, a new panel, ceiling lights and ceiling fans, new switches, and had rough and final inspections completed by the city. They had also discovered that the old owners of the home were stealing electricity because the air conditioner unit was bypassing the meter. Eric and team ensured everything was up to new code and cleaned up thoroughly.

The service and technician were very good. He was very professional. I think the wording of the Big Deal was a little confusing, but they did good work.

Work was very thorough and quality excellent. Everything explained as the work progressed and trouble shooting/repair professionally performed. I got the number from Angie's List and called them. I spoke with the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. She gave me a some possible times for service, but informed me that dispatch would call me back and confirm. Within 15 minutes, dispatched called and the appointment was confirmed.

I had a service technician from another company (assigned to me through my Home Warranty) come to fix a GFCI problem a few days earlier. He fixed the current problem but caused another when he rewired the GFCI. Mike P from Accurate thoroughly researched my lost power, located the fault, repaired and restored the power. He explained at length the procedures he was using, and answered my many questions. He was courteous, on time, well dressed and prepared. I would recommend this company to a friend.

They were very overpriced for 40 minutes of work. They advertised a senior discount but did not give one. I am very disappointed in your recommendation.

They were actually very good, and they did a very good job. The technician was really good. They are pretty pricey, they are on the high end, and they are very professional.

They are really knowledgeable, personable, thorough and good at his job.

He arrived on time and completed the work rapidly. However, I had to replace the the switch plate covers to "bubble" covers in order to ensure there was no potential issues during rain.

Updated Report: Eric Smith, Field Supervisor at Accurate Electrical Services, contacted us within the week of our posting of our review on Angie's List. He discussed with me at length how they price their services, which is based on a pricing guidebook. This book doesn't provide much flexibility, but it also means all customers get the same price so that they treat everyone fairly. We did discuss line by line the estimate provided, in comparison to other electricians we had received quotes from. They were significantly higher, but he also pointed out that the electrician arrived that day in an equipped truck, ready to perform the work that day if appropriate. Most importantly, Eric stated they have a policy of 100% customer satisfaction and that it was clear we were not satisfied. He committed to sending us a refund for our $59 service fee, which arrived later that same week. Eric was articulate and professional, and did live up to his commitment to refund our Service Fee. So, we've updated his scores in professionalism (B --> A), Price (F --> D; still expensive, but at least there is a methodology behind it), and Overall Score (D--> C). If you need work done quickly that's complicated, they may be just the fit. If your on a tight budget, then perhaps there are other providers worth talking to. Previous Report: ____________________________________________________________________ We called AES to schedule a time for them to come out to inspect the work we were requesting and get an estimate. We were told there was a $59.00 Service Dispatch fee that was required for them to come out to estimate, but that if they did the work that $59.00 would come out of the final price. We were trying to get 3 estimates on the work, and AES was the third company to do the estimate. They sent over a technician who was polite and in uniform. He again explained the $59.00 dispatch fee, but since he was going to be our third estimate, we agreed. He spent 15 minutes coming up with the estimate, and it just blew our mind! His total for the three work items was $1588. The other two electricians, both **very** highly rated on Angie's List, had estimates of $550 and $800 for the same work, and neither of them charged for the estimate. When we saw the price, we told him right away we were not interested. He seemed only to happy to pocket the check for $59.00, and didn't seem surprised at our response. We felt we had to write this up to warn other Angie's list members - be careful of AES, it will cost you $59 to learn the same lessons we did!

Overall it was fine -- punctual, complete, clean, and thorough.

Their prices were pretty high. They were very nice and professional.
