very simple story...not much to add.

I purchased a coupon and called to set up an appointment. After leaving a message with my information I receive a call a few minutes later. Then I was told that they did not server the area where I live. That was a wast of my time and money. I had to wait for a credit for the amount I paid.

The fittings and fixtures didn't match up right and the job went over by about 1/2 an hour. When I asked if he wanted more money, he just said "no, just give me a good recommendation on Angie's List!" The work was well done and we're very please. We will definately use them again.

I purchased a "big deal" coupon from Unique Plumbing and Rooter in June, 2012, for 2 hours of licensed plumbing service for $99. I didn't have any jobs in mind when I purchased it. I was just being proactive: I have a very old house and the coupon was good for 6 months. In October, one of the pipes in the backyard began to leak. The kitchen faucet also developed a very slow leak at the base. I was unable to stop the leaks myself. I made an appointment to use my coupon. Two plumbers came out, on time. They were able to stop the backyard leak quickly, but explained that the kitchen faucet couldn't be repaired. It needed to be replaced. Naturally, I didn't have a spare faucet handy. I expected they would charge me to come out on another day to replace the faucet. But before I could ask about the price, they volunteered to come back the same day, after their other appointments were done and install the faucet without any additional cost. They explained what features the faucet needed to have. They came back when they promised and quickly replaced the faucet. They also gave me a printed coupon for the same deal (2 hours of service for $99) to use if I needed any work in the future. Just to be clear, I did not have to purchase the second coupon. It's a promise to charge at that rate if I hire them in future. Often plumbers will try to talk you into buying more services than you need, but these guys did not do that once. I ended up buying a new faucet, but not from them. They didn't even offer to sell me one. They went out of their way to finish my job and make sure I was happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them.

Armen and Mike arrived on time and switched out my kitchen faucet very quickly. They needed to replace some of the older water supply hoses which they showed me how bad they were. They were neat, informative and I would use them again.

Everything went excellent. I have used them many times. They are prompt, courteous, and provide competitive prices. I would definitely recommend them.

Showed up on time, gave estimate and fixed everything quickly. Total came in as estimated. Well groomed, and professional. I plan on using these guys again.

I phoned Armen at Unique Plumbing & Rooter and explained the situation on a Monday afternoon, hoping they could come out the next day but not expecting that to be a possibility in the slightest. I was thrilled when he said they could come out the next morning by 11:00. They arrived early at 10:30 (love that!) and got the job done quickly. They were prompt, clean, courteous and did a great job! So much so that I have already asked Armen to provide an estimate for additional, unrelated, work (moving the gas line for the fireplace for which I also need a plumber). I would highly recommend Unique Plumbing and Rooter and would not hesitate to use them again!

The service was fast, accurate, and thoroughly inspected.

I had a party on a Friday night and in the middle of the party my kitchen sink clogged. I spent the next 18 hours calling different plumbers (including my regular) and leaving messages. Nobody called me back. Finally on Saturday afternoon I called Unique Plumbers and they actually picked up the call and within 2 hours were at our house. They did a great job and then only charged $89 which surprised me since it was a last minute emergency and on a weekend! they were great! I definitely will use them again (hopefully wont need to soon).

I received an Angie's List Big Deal notification 2 weeks ago. The deal was $99.00 for 2 hours of plumbing service from Unique Plumbing and Rooter. I saw that the company was well-reviewed. I had three small plumbing issues that I wanted to tackle before I moved from the apartment: a leaking toilet, a kitchen faucet issue and a sticky drain stopper. I contacted Armen Sargisyan on a Monday via email and he responded Tuesday morning - so far, excellent responsiveness. We set an appontment date for that Thursday morning at 9:00am. Armen confirmed the appointment via email on Tuesday and asked some follow-up questions. I like it when a company confirms an appointment and time via email or a call. Again, excellent responsiveness. Thursday morning, Armen and his brother Mike were at my apartment 5 minutes early - 8:55am on the dot. They introduced themselves and asked me to point out the plumbing issues. They were friendly, professional and quick! Armen made sure to explain the specific issues; in 15 minutes he was able to take care of all the issues. At all times both men were courteous, and I appreciated their speed; they were in and out within 20 minutes, allowing me to go back to work much earlier than I had anticipated. I will use Unique Plumbing and Rooter again anytime as my go-to plumbing service.

We were very pleased with brothers Armen & Mike. They were very prompt, courteous, friendly & professional.Knew what they were doing & made all necessary repairs very efficiently. Price included their time to purchase parts required for installation on their return visit. We started with a $99 Big Deal & had them return to do the rest of the work needed. Based on the time required & the work performed, and having the services of not one but two plumbers so the work could be done more quickly, requiring less disruption in my daily schedule, I highly recommend Unique Plumbing & Rooter, & will definitely call upon them should we have additional plumbing needs in the future.

Overall, the whole experiece was great with this company. I would definitely recommend them to others. I told them what the problem was over the phone and they told me "it sounds like it's your main sewer line, if its that then the fee will be $99.00". They came out and checked it out and it was the main sewer line that was clogged. After the work was complete the charge was $99.00 and not a penny more.

I would rate their work as excellent! They paid attention forgery detail, and cleaned up after themselves, The price was good, and they were very friendly. I highly recommend them, and plan to use them again.

as stated above. They did the work OK. But he deceived me on the price of the part and overcharged me for it. He was unable to provide a receipt of purchase, even though he just returned from the store. Didn't give me the store name, either. When he first arrived he stated he had extra parts in his truck. Later stated he didn't have the part he needed and had to purchase one. I believe he had the part and tried to get an extra $44.00 for the job.

It needed to be repaired, They did it.

Just like always Unique Plumbing did a marvelous job and changed our kitchen faucet.

This job proved to be tougher than first expected and these guys really busted their butts to get it done. The final result looks good and the guys stuck to their estimate. We gave them a little extra anyway because we respected their hard work.

Armen is great to work with. He is professional, leaves his work area clean, and has good communication skills. He went out of his way to find the right parts (they were difficult to find) so that he could get our shower working again on the same day. I will call him next time we need plumbing work.

They showed up on time. I explained what I wanted done, and left them to it. The two of them finished the work in about 45 minutes. The sink stopper problem was repaired as I requested. The shower valve filter cartridge needed to be replaced. Since this is a high end Hans Grohe shower valve, they didn't have the parts. But he told me to contact the manufacturer and gave me specific information to tell them. After doing this, Hans Grohe is sending me all the replacement parts needed at no charge! Even though they couldn't perform all the work I needed, they were very helpful. I intend to have them back out to compelete the job when I receive the replacement parts. They were very knowledgeable.

Unique Plumbing did a great job. They called to confirm the night before, arrived on-time and finished their work quickly and cleanly. Replacing a faucet requires water to be shut off. At our townhome, that means shutting off water for the entire building (about 10 units.) So long as it is a quick job, my neighbors generally just shut off the water without advance notice, so I was planning to do the same. But the plumber suggested/volunteered to let neighbors know the water would be off for 15 minutes (the old faucet was soldered on, so it took that long to replace), and he politely went door-to-door letting everyone know. During the indoor plumbing inspection, I showed off my (not-so-great) DIY plumbing "improvements" and the plumber suggested some things I could do differently if I wanted to do it myself and save some money (by not paying him.) They did a great job, and I'd highly recommend Unique Plumbing & Rooter.

Armen responded quickly to my initial enquiry and we set up a time for him to come and do the standpipe. It had been leaking for some time so I wanted it fixed. His assistant did that while Armen did the plumbing inspection which consisted of glancing at all the indoor plumbing to make sure it was correct, which he said it was. I pointed out that the faucets in the shower had been leaking slightly and could they fix that. He said they'd take a look and try to tighten it up. This they did and charged me an additional $55. They had me test it before they left and it felt a little stiff so Armen said I should call him back if I wanted it adjusted. Which I did a day or two later so they returned and tried adjusting it again. We tried that out for a day or so but it was still far too stiff so we arranged another appointment and Armen advised that he would deduct the $55 off that he'd initially charged me for this job and that the total would be $170. I agreed and after one appointment cancellation his assistant arrived promptly on Wednesday morning and did the job. He had to remove the offending regulators inside the wall, go get new ones and install those. Altogether he was probably here a little under 2 hours. They work perfectly now and do not leak. I found Armen and his assistant to be professional if not overly friendly, but certainly not unfriendly or unpleasant. They seem to know what they're doing and I would call them in again if I needed something doing.

My experience with Unique was phenomenal from start to finish. Masis and Armen were punctual and accessible. Additionally, they are quite pleasant to work with and are hard working and honest people. They perform quality work at fair prices. I would definitely use them on my future projects and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumber.
