Great professional work by Armen and Mike. They replaced our 10 years old 75Gal gas water heater and before calling the job "done" they made sure that the installation was functional as well as durable, presentable, clean and safe. It's really refreshing to find professional plumbers who work with so much passion and pride and care for customer satisfaction.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. For some reason my wife and i thought we could take on a kitchen remodel by ourselves. We knew we planned to contract out the plumbing and electrical but I had no idea what the order of work done was, how to get a permit, how inspections work, etc. Aside from just doing the job he was hired to, Armen walked me through every step of the process and put up with a number of scheduling issues and false-starts brought about by me being a first-timer. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time even though I probably was. There's not much to say about the quality of work other than it was done well, it was done quickly, and I never once felt unclear about what exactly was being done. Once the project began, Armen pointed out some new problem areas that came to light after getting in the walls and under the house but I never felt like I was being pitched unnecessary work and I was never pressured into doing any of it. At the end of the day we ended up doing most of the work he suggested and now our grass is greener and we can fill our bathtub up in under an hour. I can honestly say his work improved the quality of our life. And as for the kitchen/laundry room, the water is flowing, the dishes and clothes are cleaning, the stove is fired up, and the ice is...icing? I've come away from this project with a lot of gray hairs but definitely fewer than I'd have without these guys.

The service was good, they were on time, There wasn't a whole lot for them to do, and they finished and left in an hour. One of the guys did more work than the other, but because they were done in less than an hour, they said we would only pay for an hour, because they were 2 for an hour. I didn't prompt him, but I think he felt guilty. I had asked for a quote on some other work, and he was supposed to get back to me, but he didn't get back to me.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fine. I didn't pay any additional. They showed up, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and left. It was really quick. They were very pleasant.

Unique Plumbing is owned by two brothers, Armen and Jim. I picked this company based on the reviews I read. Armen a answered this call, and I was not disappointed. He was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He fixed four different plumbing problems effectively. He was friendly and was in and out in no time. I surely recommend this company for your plumbing and remodeling needs.

Unique Plumbing and Rooter is the best plumbing/rooter company we have ever had. They go out of their way to accurately diagnose the problem and to solve it as quickly, efficiently and cost effectively as possible. They cleared/replace sections of pipe that were under plants, cement, jacuzzi so carefully that we only had to pour a small 3 X 1 foot square of new cement and only had to uproot one rose bush. They spent the better part of a work week fixing the problem. They came again today to repair a stoppage in a bathroom and my experience with them was just as good. We highly recommend them.

Our shower and bathtub were resisting the charms of copious quantities of Drano, so we knew we needed a professional. Armin was over to the house within an hour and deftly performed an intervention on our unresponsive bathroom amenities. We were surprised we could get anyone to come out that quickly on a Saturday. $145 seemed a little high, but honestly, he came out promptly and did the job quickly, so if he'd have charged less, I'd have just given him a big tip anyway. You get what you pay for, so I think it was well worth it.

Armen (and Mike) were both responsive, punctual, friendly and saved me a lot of money. I had a problem with several things at once, but Armen only charged me for the work done on my toilet. In addition, he had me call SoCal Gas, who diagnosed a serious problem, for free - something I had been trying to get fixed with another plumber, who not only completely missed the problem, but told me that everything was 'perfect' and working properly when he left my home. (JMS Express) Later when the smell of gas was strong, I knew I had a serious problem that definitely was not 'perfect'. Armen not only was available to troubleshoot this problem, he suggested many options to me that would save me money. I'm always glad to find someone who wants to do honest work, and doesn't try and rip me off. Thanks!! Update on 3/26/14 My toilet is now not working and cannot get a hold of them, they have refused to make an appointment to come back and fix the problem despite calling three times. I have called them since 3/19, the problems started and I am really disappointed that I have to call someone else.

The experience was very nice. I paid 25 Dollars additional for a part to repair the toilet. He was very nice, and helpful, and looked at a few things, and told me what it would take to repair them. Their price was very fair.

Armen arrived a little early, and politely called to see if was ok to start out. A simple job but done quickly and neatly Would call again

OUTSTANDING, OUTSTANDING JOB. We couldn't have been more pleased. This is the second time we have used Armen. Both times we have been wowed by his knowledge, professionalism and friendliness. This is a long overdue review. Armen is very prompt. He actually made an effort and succeeded at coming earlier than his appointment both times, since he knew we could use him as soon as possible. He is extremely trustworthy and efficient. He kept us informed about everything he was doing so that there were no surprises and we could be better equipped to fix a problem in an emergency. His fee was very reasonable and was very well deserved. My husband and I give him the very highest recommendation. Actually, just being able to locate him through Angie's List makes us feel that our membership fee for this referral service is worth it! It's a major comfort to know that we have such a qualified plumber who is so easy to get along with, and we will absolutely only use Armen in the future. I used them through a big deal on Angie's List. It was fine. He just came in, did something really quick and moved on. He was very efficient with what needed to be done. He was nice. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

Can't give enough praise to Armen! He came to our rescue on Superbowl Sunday! I was all ready to figure out showers and the like until someone could come Monday, but he arrived within an hour of my call and completely replaced a single knob shower handle, along with every single piece of hardware that goes "inside" of it. There were a couple of challenges as the original builder of the shower... well... let's just say I hope he's not installing new shower systems anymore. =) Armen was great to not only come on a Sunday (did I mention it was Superbowl Sunday?), but the job was perfectly done and very reasonably priced. The best thing I can say is the next time I need a plumber, there's simply no question about who I'll be calling.

They answer the phone themselves and do all the work themselves; you will not be dealing with receptionists, estimators or salespeople. Out of the five plumbers I called, Unique was the only one that did not use scare tactics to try to sell me more work than I needed or wanted -- which I really appreciated. I was happy with the price. In fact, one company wanted three times what Unique charged me for exactly the same work! They arrived early, calling me first as I had requested. They knew exactly what parts would be needed and once going under the house did not emerge until the job was done -- in less than one hour! I gave them an opportunity to increase my bill by telling them to replace the ABS line from my sink if they thought it was necessary. They were honest and said the line was fine as it was. The company name is well chosen -- they are "unique" in the plumbing industry: honest, fast, efficient, skilled and fairly priced. Look no further for your plumbing needs!

They are a brother-and-brother team. Very professional and punctual. They came on Saturday morning on very short notice. Checked my water heater and had to deal with some incorrect installation of water heater pan before they could replace the pilot assembly. Finished the job in a very short time and offered a good rate. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and would use them again!

Armen and his crew are a professional outfit and they know what they are doing . He quoted a reasonable price for the job and showed up promptly ( on a SUNDAY) at the time promised and completed the work on time . To my delight , he also added an earthquake safety valve and fixed adapter ( per code ) for my attic furnace at no additional cost to me . Definitely someone I will recommend and work with again .

When we had water coming out of our toilet and flooding the floors as a result of running the washing machine, we knew we needed help. Armen came that day, and unclogged our pipes. Unfortunately the problem came back a couple weeks later and we had another flood. Armen came again and remedied the situation, without a charge for the second visit. While I wish a second visit wasn't required, I was glad he came back and stood behind his work. I would recommend these guys.

It went well. Armen originally showed up early for the estimate. I was the late one as I was coming home from work. He was very nice and professional. I had previously had 2 prior estimates a while back. Armen was not salesly, and didn't try to oversell things. He made me way more comfortable than the other high-pressure guys who provided estimates. His price was slightly lower than the other two estimates. I also asked for estimates on fix leak in an outside pipe and install pressure regulator. After I agreed, his guys show up, and it took two days to do all the work. I think the first day they did all the prep work, and they mentioned that there was a slight issue with one of their machines. We could use the water overnight so it was no problem. So the next day, they finished, and got everything patched up nicely. The whole time, Armen explained everything that was going on and made me feel at ease. He was no pressure and very easy going.

Service provider promptly called back even on Sunday to set up an appointment for Monday. Armen came right on time (actually early) and went right to work unclogging the kitchen sink. He was finished within an hour, then provided a verbal recommendation to replace the aging cold water line. He left the sink and work area clean. A very punctual, efficient, and professional job.

When we bought our house was over 30 years old and many of the fixtures were dated and leaky. I had repaired the tank on one of the toilets and what I thought was going going to be a 2 hour project wound up taking almost two days. Over the years, leaks had rusted the bolts and I eventually I had to cut them off to complete the project. So, when we decided to update the bathroom fixtures I decided it would be best to enlist the help of a professional. I'm so happy I found Unique Plumbing on here. I called and spoke with Armen. He was polite on the phone and we scheduled a meeting for the following day. I asked him if he could give me an idea what it would going to cost. He quoted me a best-case scenario figure but suggested that he come out and inspect the work area and existing fixtures. He said with a remodel one cannot know ahead of time what will be found relative to the conditions of the installed fixtures. It seemed like a reasonable request. The following morning he arrived promptly. After inspecting everything he discovered a number of items that needed to be addressed (for example an a/c condensate line draining into one of the bathroom drains. He gave me a new estimate and I have him the go-ahead to start the work. Upon opening up the boxes for the new fixtures I had purchased at a big box hardware store he discovered some items missing in a couple of the packages. He started working on removing the installed faucets while I went back to exchange the fixtures. He also recommended that we replace the water connections as they were very corroded, so I picked up the additional hardware. When, I got back he was well on his way to removing all the old fixtures. He had had to cut off some of them as the existing nuts securing the fixtures crumbled when he tried to unscrew them. He was also consiencious enough to clean up rust spots on the vanity left behind by the leak old fixtures. Armen worked diligently and professionally. At one point he called his brother to assist him on the installation of the jacuzzi tub faucet as he needed an extra pair of hands. His brother also brought up additional drain connectors to address the connection of the a/c drain line to the drain pipe that came with the new fixtures. During, all these changes I feared that the bill was going to have grown to address an number of the unexpected items that were encountered. However, when he worked up the final bill, it was close to what he had originally estimated upon arriving at my house. This was despite the fact that he'd spent almost twice as long as we thought it would take. Needless to say I'm very pleased with the fine quality of their workmanship and the reasonable cost. I would recommend this company without reservations. In fact, I am going to have them come back and update the showers in the house.

Plumber showed up early, checked out the problems, and fixed them. He advised which things should be replaced eventually. Throughout, he was pleasant and efficient. I would use him again.

My kitchen sink was clogged. We called at 8AM on a Saturday and Armen was here by 8:30. He fixed and even gave me a discount for being an Angies List member!

I called to set an appointment, expecting that it would be sometime after the Thanksgiving holiday. Armen was in the area and was at our home within 30 minutes. He fixed everything, explaining in advance what needed to be done in each case, and he had all the necessary parts and equipment with him. This company is now on my list of favorites to call whenever I need help!!
