Basically, they did a great job. Advice seemed sound; workmanship was good, time and price were good. Communication was good, with the one exception having been handled with dispatch. The fact that he had previously been a general contractor was of some benefit, including advice regarding non-painting matters.

These gentlemen (father and son) had painted the exterior of my home four years ago as well as that of my mother. They hand a team of workers then and they supervised. The work then was good and I was wiling to hire them when they just dropped by my home one morning. We agreed on a price and they got to work. I ran errands while they worked outside, but was surpised the job was finished so quickly (about four hours). I randomly inspected some areas and had them fix up some overspray. I even made them deduct the cost of my edible basil that they had sprayed. They were reluctant to fix various things, but did. Later when my son returned from work he pointed out how bad the job was. A number of our possessions were damaged with overspray and brand new screens had dabs of paint on them because they obviously did not take the time to cover before spraying. On a hunch I checked my bank's website and found they had cashed the check at the bank that afternoon just after leaving my home.
