It was a little tough to get in their schedule, as it seems like they are busy, but they were able to match the color I wanted, and the finish was perfect, and they were able to finish quickly once they got me scheduled.

1. Stucco and trim around the Garage doors. This was an ongoing problem. The trim had wood rot, leaking, constant peeling and generally was a mess. The competence of the workmen and quality of the work really impressed me. Signature did the job correctly. I reviewed each step as they did it and couldn't be happier with the workmanship. It is now properly sealed and the trim should not need maintenance for many, many years. Rotten and leaky wood was replace with styrofoam trim covered with concrete (I think) then stucco. There is no line of demarcation where the stucco blends into the walls. 2. Leaky picture window. This window has been patched with silicone for years and it never resolved. It was a source of termites and leaking into our home. When Signature Plastering opened up the wall, we found a much bigger problem than expected. There was no window. It was just a huge piece of glass put into the wood frame! How did that pass inspection??? At their advice, we decided to do this right once and for all. We bought a new window. Together with the glass people, the window supports were replaced with new wood and the window installed. Signature added the trim, stuccoing and other water sealing. They put up dry wall inside and textured it to match my existing walls. I had it all painted and it blends perfectly. I couldn't be happier. This window plagued us for 15 years on and off. We thought at times the patches were working. Actually, leakage continued inside the walls and termites loved it. Our house is on a steep down slope and the window is up 2 stories so this is not an easy job. I only wanted an experienced, insured and reputable company working there. They showed up when they said they would. I trust Bob Koach to steer me right. They are a busy company and it took a while to be fit into their schedule. I waited. I guess that being popular is a good sign. You won't regret working with Signature. I got a bid for the garage area and it was not changed. I like that. The window cost us considerably more than planned, but way more work was required + a new window. The price does not include the big window itself or painting. Others did that work.

I had two long cracks that had developed in exterior stucco/cement at my home, one about 10 feet on the south wall of the house itself, and the other about 15 feet long on the garage wall. They were both problematic, because there was a good possiblity that they were deep, thus creating the potential for water intrusion. I originally feared that the crack on the house's wall was more than just the plaster, but was due to settling and bowing of the structure itself. However, an interior designer friend who's worked with Bob Koach of Signature Plastering on some of her clients' homes recommended I have him take the first look before I spent a lot of money on a general contractor and possibly a structural engineer. I'm so glad I took her advice, because Bob came out and said he believed the problem WAS just in the plaster. He also checked out the garage wall, and he gave me a combined estimate for both jobs, which I found to be very reasonable. He also walked the perimeter of the house with me and took a look at the rest of my stucco, because I have some areas where it's peeling. Knowing that those areas will be a lot of work to repair, but are not areas that threaten to allow water to leak in, he gave me a separate estimate for that work to be done, so I can follow up on that later. A few days after I gave Signature Plastering the go-ahead, they showed up and started right in on demo work in both areas. By the end of the first day, they had gotten rid of all the damaged plaster, removed a stump of a tree that had caused the garage wall damage, and determined why some of the plaster was cracking on the side of the house (the builders back in 1927 did not trim the horizontal studs flush with the vertical ones, but left several inches sticking out, then applied the waterproofing material right over those ends that were protruding, without nailing it down to anything). They had also put in the lath and waterproofing on the garage. By the end of the second day, both areas were completely repaired, and they look amazing! They even asked me to take photos of the work as it progressed for my records so I could refer back to see the quality of what they had done underneath the finished stucco. Bob and his team were punctual, clean, hardworking, and professional. Best of all, the quality of their work is excellent. I highly recommend Signature Plastering!

It went very poorly. When I originally called the company, they said they would get back to me that day to schedule an appointment for later in the week. I had to call them several times over the following couple of days to make the appointment. They did send their estimator to my house, and he said he would mail the estimate later that day. We never received the estimate.
Description of Work: We requested an estimate for a stucco repair job on a small wall.

This has been my first experience with a major remodel, and Signature Plastering has been a big part of the project's success. As anyone who has ever remodeled knows, nothing ever goes as planned. Signature started the job, and then I experienced delays which lasted for several months. I was never once pressured to get the job done. Bob, my contact at Signature, called periodically to see how things were going, and always encouraged me to take my time and get everything done right. My happiness and satisfaction was his biggest concern. I loved that! When the job was finished, there were a few spots that didn't come out quite right, and they were fixed with no questions asked. There were 2 separate crews here, one for sandblasting and one for the brown coat and stucco. The men were great! Not only did they do wonderful work, they were flexible, professional, and a joy to work with. They accommodated my schedule and crazy dogs with respect and courtesy. I really cannot say enough about this company. From start to finish, I have been COMPLETELY satisfied. I would (and have!) highly recommend Signature Plastering. These guys know what they are doing. They answered all of my questions, allayed my fears, and helped me make informed decisions every step of the way. THANKS SIGNATURE!
