Ruth Bracegirdle Interior Design

The scope of the entire project was large, but Ruth planned each part of the job so that we were disrupted as little as possible. I have worked with contractors in the past for remodeling projects, but this was by far the best experience. Ruth and I reviewed all of the choices to be made as well as the scheduling of the work. She brought a group of skilled craftsmen to do the work. Even though the project took quite a while, we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend her work!

I am extremely satisfied with her services. She is outstanding in every single way and I would hire her over and over again. I would recommend her to anybody. I would absolutely use her services again in the future.

Ruth designed the remodel of my condo and then redecorated the entire unit. She oversaw all the construction and helped select all the furnishings, art, etc. once the condo was completed. Ruth is a brilliant designer. She is unbelievably creative and worked extremely well with my needs both financially and creatively. She also dealt with vendors and workmen very well. I would hire her again, and again if the need arose and have highly recommended her to others.

Ruth is great. She is full of good ideas, while still being very cognizant of her client's wishes and tastes. She is incredibly professional and also personable and enjoyable to be around. Her attention to detail and organization skills are very helpful and reassuring.

In light of my desire to get the house on the market quickly, Ruth was able to re-arrange her labor to accommodate me, which was appreciated more than she knows. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do, and she brought some more great suggestions to bring my ideas to life. We spent the first couple days shopping for tile and fixtures. Time from first demolition to finish was just over two weeks...very impressive. Her contractor kept the house clean and doors closed (pets in the house), and did really good work. Ruth was there every day that work was going on to stay on top of any unwelcome surprises (there were few). The result was a very handsome bath, done for a reasonable number, that attracted a lot of good notice during the time the house was on the market. It was due in large part to the final product that the house sold for very near its asking price in a tough market. Thanks, Ruth!!

After several initial meetings, Ruth came back with drawings, research and samples of materials to use for the kitchen and baths. Once the designs were signed off on, Ruth worked extensively with the contractors to make sure that her designs were implemented to code and to her satisfaction. I don't remember a day when she was not on site answering questions and overseeing the construction. Even having to change contractors half way through, she maintained her professionalism, calm and sense of humor. I have also been impressed with her commitment to any follow up trouble shooting that I've needed on appliances etc. She is incredibly organized which has meant that her files and notes relating to the project are easily accessible and comprehensive. All in all it was a fantastic experience working with Ruth's company and the contractors she employs and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
