Description of Work: I purchased my hardwood floors from Mike about a month ago. I was only interested in buying UrbanFloors since I had done research on the brand and it had great reviews. Mike offered my the specific floor I wanetd by UrbanFloor for over 30 cents less a sq ft than the other business who sold Urbanfloor.I bought about 550 sq ft of wood in the Birch Coffee at 2.99 a sq ft. The hard wood came literally the next day and then Mike called me to alert me they were ready...seriously so easy. After I had such a great experience with purchasing my hardwood from him, I then decided to use him for carpeting my bedrooms. Prices of carpets were not INSANELY cheap, but also were not insanely expensive either. Mike was able to book me to install the carpets 2 days later and they arrived promptly at 9 am to do the job. They look great and they were in and out of my condo.

+ -1 moreThey were punctual, and the price was right. My floors look fantastic!! Too bad I sold the house right after. ..I would have loved to enjoy them myself, but I hope that new owner appreciates them too.
Description of Work: Mike's refinished and conducted some repairs for my hardwood floors. The floors were original to my mid-century house and needed some tender loving care.

Description of Work: I went to Mike's to get samples of tile, hoping to have them do my installation as well. After giving him the name of the samples I wanted, from companies he carries, he said he would have samples sent directly to me. A week later I called and said they hadn't arrived. He said he would check on it and get back to me. I never heard from him again. I don't know why this company gets such good ratings - my experience was a total no show.

Description of Work: I needed my carpets chaged fast! so I opend the phone book and called a few places. Mike was the only store that would change my carpet the next day. Not even carpet empire would and they advertise on T.V about it. After i got the job done. I realized that the price I payed for the job was about half of what the other carpet stores were charging. I payed $1800 out the door when carpet empire wanted $3600 and Mikes Carpeting did it the next day.

+ -1 moreTHEY CAME VERY PREPARED TO OUR HOUSE. THEY RESPECTED THE FACT THAT THEY WERE TO TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES BEFORE ENTERING. THE CARPET CLEANING WENT GREAT. THE CARPET SEEMED SPOTLESS AFTER THE CLEANING. THEY TOLD US EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT WHAT TO DO AFTER THE CLEANING. WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY WERE QUICKLY ON THE JOB. VERY POLITE TO MY FAMILY. GAVE US ADVICE ON HOW TO KEEP THE CARPET CLEAN. AFFORDABLE PRICE FOR A CARPET CLEANING OF STEAM.
