Description of Work: Best of the West Air Conditioning and Heating removed my old swamp cooler and installed a new one. It went as planned with no problems. Fidelity covered everything but the cost of some minor modifications on my roof.

Description of Work: This is our home warranty insurance. We have used them for several things when we purchased our home. They always took care of problem. Last time, we had a Viking stove ignitors that just could not be fixed, they sent several people and it was determined it was a flaw in Viking stove, so they only charged us $50.00 for the first visit, then provided us with a check to replace the stove...cost comparable to a Viking. We have renewed their service every year going on 5 years.

 + -1 moreThe heater is on the roof of our house and there was a pipe that needed replaced. One of the repairmen said he had never seen a unit like that before. They came out twice to fix the problem but I still feel like it is not fixed properly.
Description of Work: Warranty work. We had them come out to diagnose and fix problem with the heater.

 + -1 moreI called to add roof coverage within the first 30 days of the policy (as per the rules). I was told it was available only if a home is less than one year old. I told them my house was built in 1937 so they said roof coverage was not available. It turns out roof coverage was available and I should have been allowed to add it to my policy. Guess what? I discovered a leak 35 days into the policy with no coverage. Kim, the supervisor, said as a "courtesy" I could now add the coverage but the claim would be excluded. My loss your lesson. My advice...shop elsewhere.
