We provide detailed computer generated reports with colored pictures .Reports can be produced on site if requested, viewed on our website, faxed or emailed. We do all we can to ensure your inspection is as pleasant and risk-free as possible.
Inspector was entertaining and fun. Seemed somewhat thorough in some ways, but didn't check water gauge to see if house had leaks (for example). Seemed very unconcerned about cracks on walls and around windows. I wondered about the problems, but since inspector didn't make any mention that they might be an indication of deeper problems, I thought they were benign. After house was purchased, a contractor came by and said the cracks were a major cause for concern. I had experts come look, and indeed I have tens of thousands of dollars of work that needs to be done. This company's contract is very strict. It says, essentially, that they can't be held responsible for not noticing anything. They claim to warrant their work, but practically speaking, they don't. Sometimes in life, your main purpose is to serve as a warning to others. I am your warning. Get the inspection contract/agreement FIRST, and review it. If you see anything like "damages are limited to the cost of the inspection x2" then RUN AWAY. This is a company that will not stand behind their work. This company is one of those you should never use for the service they advertise. If the house has significant problems, even if they're obvious, the inspector will likely not notice, and you will have no recourse (I've spoken to a few professionals on this subject, and I have no recourse).
Description of Work: Inspected home to advise on problems before purchase.

Scheduling the inspection was very easy, and the office staff was very friendly. Mike arrived right on time, and explained that he prefers to go around the house on his own first and then go over his findings all at once at the end. The house is about 2150 square feet, and Mike took about 2 hours to go through it all. When he finished, he put all the pictures he took (around 150 or so, I believe) on his laptop, and we went through the slide show while he narrated all of his observations, both positive and negative. His "presentation" was very thorough, and we felt like we had a good feeling for the overall condition of the house and its various systems by the end. We received his official report via email late Monday night (the inspection was on a Saturday), and it contained everything he went over with us in person. We will certainly use Mike in the future if we ever need a general inspection in the Los Angeles area again.
Description of Work: Mike came out to perform a general home inspection for us on a home we had in escrow.

Excellent! Mike documented his inspection with photos from his digital camera so there was no question about what he reported in the final report. We checked the exterior, roof, utility systems, Heating & Air Conditioning, interior, and appliances. The final report was a complication of photos and comments as to what needed to be addressed.
Description of Work: I was in the process of buying a home. Mike Owdeh walked (and crawled) with me over the entire property inspecting, commenting and advising me on what he saw and what I needed to be aware of as I bought the home.
