CHIMNEY SWEEP BILL

I was in the process of preparing my dad's house for sale, and really wanted to know whether or not the integrity of the chimney had been compromised (the house was built in 1945 and has "lived through" numerous substantial earthquakes). Bill was amazing...so pleasant, so approachable, so willing to answer my questions. He crawled around on top of the house, cleaned the chimney from above and then from below. Stuck his head in the fireplace and cleaned some more. He pointed out some minor cracks that were superficial in nature, repaired them, assured me that the fireplace was fine and I could sell the house with a "working wood burning fireplace". He ordered a spark arrester and another part that we needed to make sure it was in compliance, and brought them back and installed them within a week. If you want a great, honest guy who does great, honest work - who does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, and at VERY reasonable prices, he's your guy. I highly recommend him and wouldn't dream of using anybody else. Super job, made my life very easy at a time when nothing was easy. Thanks Bill!

Bill was great! He showed up early for our 7:30 a.m. appointment and waited in his truck until I opened the door and waved him in which was very polite of him considering the early hour. He went straight to work on our wood stove to get it ready for winter. We had no idea when it was cleaned last since we haven't owned the home for very long but we figured it had probably been several years. While on the roof, Bill saw that our chimney cap screen was pretty worn out so he went ahead and cut and installed a new piece of screen. He was very friendly and even played with my dogs who were acting pretty obnoxious! Bill did clean work...not a trace of ash or soot left behind. I'd use him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him!

I called Bill and he was great!! I can't say enough good things about him. He agreed to come the next day, showed up on time as planned with his son Zack. Very polite and professional, which I appreciate as a woman living alone. They got to work immediately, very tidy, efficient. Bill was helpful to advise that Duraflame logs actually cause more debris to develop in the chimney pipe but said I could still get by with cleaning the chimney every 2-3 years without any issues as I don't burn too many fires throughout the year. He did not push for any added repairs or work to be done, thankfully as that is always my fear that they will push for more work and added expense. They showed me what they did, and Bill even invited me on the roof to inspect the inside of the chimney pipe. Cost for thorough cleaning was $100, which I thought was very fair compared with other providers I called. I woudl definitely hire Bill and his son again, and it is nice to know that when Bill retires his son will carry on with the business!

THE GUY CAME IN AND INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS JAKE AND GOT TO WORK. HE WORKED FAST AND FINISHED IN AN HOUR. HE WAS COURTEOUS, EXPLAINING EVERYTHING HE DID, BUT THE CHIMNEY COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE CLEANER.
