John and his crew were absolutely fantastic. They didn’t just do a great job with sprucing up the outside of our house, but also showed that they really cared about delivering quality work and getting things done right. What I really appreciated about John was his knack for suggesting smart fixes instead of just going for the full-blown, and often more expensive, replacements. Like, instead of re-siding our entire house, he pinpointed the spots that needed some TLC and focused on fixing those. He even went the extra mile to get custom siding milled to match what we already had. The result? Our place looks awesome, the work was top-notch, and we didn’t have to break the bank by starting from scratch. I’d totally recommend John and his team to anyone in a heartbeat. Their blend of professionalism, skill, and genuine care for what they do really shines through. And, without a doubt, I’d hire them again for any future projects.

Hello. I found this company on Nextdoor, when I was searching for a roofing company that could come to my house while it was raining. I had a small leak and I had contacted several other companies, but they had an appointment setting process and then they would have to come a second or maybe a third time. I was very concerned that my small leak could turn into something bigger. John, the owner of the company actually picked up the phone, listened to what I needed, and told me he could be there in about 2 hours and hopefully fix it on the spot. He told me that something like this would cost between $300 and $500 and I said great. He actually had workers in the area and he sent all 3 of his sons to my house, they saw the problem, told me it was going to cost $400 and then they went to Home Depot to get what they needed and came back within 30 minutes and got right on it. They used my hose to confirm where the leak was, found it, worked on it for about an hour, took the hose and tested it and told me everything was fine. (I guess I won't really know until the next big rain, which may be coming in a few days), but they have a guarantee and will come back if anything goes wrong. They also noticed that another part of my house which has a flat roof needs attention, and I knew that, and they will get back to me with another estimate. I really appreciated the fact that they were immediately responsive to my needs and made me feel important and comfortable about this. My peace of mind was very important, because I had lived with the constant dripping the night before and I just wanted it done! I want to thank John and his 3 sons for helping me. I hope the problem is solved and I trust that they did a great job (they followed all those YouTube videos that we all watch to try to do things ourselves or watch how it should be done according to the "experts"). And John even called me to follow up and said he is personally going to come by my house and check out the work! Who does that these days! I am so far very impressed. They do all kinds of work on houses and I will definitely call them for future projects. Thank you Carroll Painting. Even their card says "Serving all your handyman needs". Truly a very nice, honest family business. I had to pick a category and this was roofing, so the category is not correct in this case.

It went really well. They are professional and did a great job. We had a lot of little things that needed to get fixed before they painted the exterior of the house. They repaired and then stuccoed , then painted. The house looks great and we are very happy with the work they did.

This house was built in 1939 and had been used as a rental bungalow for decades. There was a fair amount of deferred maintenance. The soffit and window glazing and wood in several places were in bad shape. No flashing was installed around the roof so water had rotted wood in the soffit and affected the walls of the house. The swelling from that had impaired the stucco. The pergola had some rotted wood and needed to be mostly rebuilt. John explained all the issues, their causes and what his team could do to repair and paint them. He described the qualities of the paint he would use and how he could include a pest resistant feature to the soffit work. He even drove me around the neighborhood to show me other houses where he had done exterior work. He quoted a reasonable price for each aspect of the work. He listened to all my instructions and his team executed them very well. They showed up on time, worked efficiently and stayed until the job was completed. They paid attention to detail. They cleaned up completely when the job was completed. They really transformed the place.

It was fantastic. Things I did not know about were needed and done. An excellent job was done. I would have more work done by this service. When needed.

Upon a one time meet and work together, these three brothers came highly prepared and highly professional. They finished the job for us without damaging anything. They listened over the phone to my request, brought the tools to the consultation and did the job on site. They not only paint, they helped me with some historic restoration. They are safe, hard working, and to my judgement honest old fashioned polite gentlemen. Hats off to Carroll’s sons and for that matter, Carroll himself. Good work, fair price, and hard to beat at value and integrity!

We were very satisfied with all work completed; exterior painting, deck refinishing, stucco painting, roof repair of shingles and sealing, and additional projects.

They have been wonderful. It’s a responsible father and sons painting family that dates back four generations. We are already planning goals for them to return to do other work for us. They also have fixed issues without even being asked like doors that didn’t open easily.

Extremely well. John Carroll and his sons do excellent work, as do their crew, ie when repainting they make sure all the old paint is stripped away first, nothing is glossed over. John oversees everything to make sure it is to his high standard and his client’s satisfaction. Don’t look any further for a job well done.

This is my 2nd job with Carroll Painting. While they are primarily house painters, they also handle light construction and house repairs. I hired them to repair a number of exterior spots, on the facia, soffit and faux beams---dry rot and termite damage. They also repaired water damage to a window and shower. As usual, John Carroll and sons do a great job. Their team members on this job, Junior and Nino, are real craftsmen and all of the work was perfect. They are my go-to people for all of this kind of work, because they do it right.

THEY WERE GREAT!!! Very friendly and very professional. John stopped by because he could see there was work that needed to be done and I’m so glad he did. The wood trim and siding was in need of help and John and his team came to the rescue. Not only did they fix the problem of the fading wood with spots of mildew, but it looks awesome. I will definitely use them again.

Carroll painting went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with how our house turned out. They stained the wood siding, painted the trim, garage door, and front door. They also replaced several damaged pieces of wood siding and showed me how to do it for future reference. I'm very happy with how the house turned out - it almost looks new!

The Carroll crew gave my 1947 house a new lease on life..it is the best it’s ever looked!! And kudos to Ed..his main painter.. if it doesn’t move, paint it!! He is remarkable. Definitely recommend them.
