Brother's Painting

Brothers did the job, it was ok. I was not that thrilled with everything. It is fine but it was not outstanding. They were reasonably priced, I got other quotes for double the amount of money. For the same money I am sure I would have gotten the same type of service from any other company.

This is the third time I used Brothers Painting. I enjoy working with Raffi and his team. They do a great job, are fair, clean and punctual. I selected and supplied a shade of red and did not like it. Raffi re-painted with a darker hue at no additional charge. Raffi does an excellent job of cutting-in especially on my walls which are rough and uneven.

Excellent job.. Punctual, personable, and professional

Raffi and his assistant took 2 days to paint,and repair cracks. They painted my 10 ft.ceiling, walls, baseboards, and three doors. They moved and covered all the furniture. All the floors were covered and doorways into others areas were sealed against dust. They used 2 coats for even coverage. I bought my own paint since I wanted a custom eye matched color. I am very happy with the beautiful job they did. Raffi is a great guy and easy to work with. My rooms look fresh and new.

Raffi did a beautiful job painting the wood trim on my house. He prepared the surfaces thoroughly. He know the proper materials to use for the different situations. and the painting was beautiful. This is the second time he has painted for me. He is very reliable, works hard, and does it the right way.

We were a bit nervous about this job, since we are living out of town and couldn't be there to supervise. Raff was great throughout. He gave a very detailed quote, showed up on time, did a superior job, and kept us informed throughout the process. Our new tenant was thrilled at the quality of the work. We would use him again in a heartbeat.

Stayed true to his initial estimate, arrived when he said he would and finished in the amount of time predicted. He returned to remedy some mistakes and asked more than once if there was anything else we needed.

Great. Raffi was always on time, he gave me an estimate, not only of cost, but also how long the job would take, and he was spot on with both. What more can you ask for? I thought he did a good job, but also I got unrequested comments from neighbors how much they liked the job. Would I use him again? In fact, I am using him again, to paint the interior of the house. I recommend him.

Raffi's the best, fast and get the job done right the first time.

We found Raffi very helpful and professional. He helped us choose paint colors that we really liked (good advice was important to me), patiently put up samples to help us decide on colors and was attentive to detail as he did the job. His work was quick once we decided. I would would recommend him to anyone who has an idea of what they want the results to look like but would like a painter who can weigh in with helpful suggestions -- I did not go with all of Raffi's suggestions, but he was a pleasure to work with and we are very satisfied with the results.

I can't believe what a wonderful job Raffi did. He painted like he was taking care of his own home - so thorough and meticulous, making sure every little thing was just right along the way. He truly went above and beyond - not just to meet my standards, but also to meet the very high standard he obviously sets for himself. I called him on a Friday, he came and gave me an estimate over that weekend, and by the following weekend, the inside of my house looked brand new. He was wonderful and patient about helping me make color choices, and every one of his suggestions was the perfect way to go, and not something I would have chosen without his amazing advice. I can't imagine using anyone else for painting as this was the best experience I've had with any contractor. I'm so glad I listened to all the other outstanding reviews here, and clearly I won't hesitate to use Raffi again.

Rafi was fabulous. He is a highly skilled painter. His price was excellent in comparison to other estimates. He was very helpful in listening to what we wanted and helping us choose the right colors for our rooms. He spent lots of time on preparing the rooms for painting, and was totally cooperative and flexible in wanting to please us and meet our expectations. He was also readily available when we wanted the work done. We will definately use him again and recommend him to others.

Raffi from Brothers Painting came in and gave me an estimate, as did others, but he talked to us about the house what we wanted, his ideas, what he has seen in other homes etc. Based on the fact that he listened to what we wanted, and added suggestions, we decided to go with his company. During the process, he talked to us and told us what he liked and didn't like and provided suggestions on different things that could be done, such as the crown molding, base boards, doors and kitchen ceiling. We didn't do everything, which he respected, but everything he suggested that we did, ended up making the house look beautiful, and everyone who has seen it since he has done the work will agree.

They were very acomodating to my last minute changes without charging me extra. There were things done outside the contract that were necessary to doing the job right. For example; he replaced a piece of wood that was rotted from water damage to the patio area at his own expense. He could have just painted over it and I would not have noticed. He has an artist's eye when it comes to choosing the colors and suggested different options to make the building look more like designer-like so it would have the best curb appeal on the block. I was very impressed with the amount of time and effort they put in preparing and painting the nearly 40 windows and window bars on my two-story building. I chose him because he painted my other building 9 years ago and it still looks freshly painted today. I am enclosing a picture of it because I don't have a picture of the recent building. I can't think of anything I was dissatisfied with. Even though the price was on the high side at first, after the job was done, I considered it a very good deal. This is because I compared this work with two other estimates I got in the beginning. He took pride in his work even when I told him it wasn't that important to me, but he said it was important to him that the building looked just right and I would be very happy in the end.

When Raffi came to give me an estimate, he badgered me into telling him what I paid for the house, then had lots of unsolicited commentary about the price I'd paid (too high, he felt) and the size of my house (too small, he was sure) and the number of bathrooms (too few.) He was very derogatory about my neutral color choices. When he gave me his quote, which was high but not unreasonable, he threw in comments about me seeming to have enough money to over-pay for the house, so I should be willing to pay his fee. I get along with pretty much everyone, but felt condescended to by Raffi.

Overall, he did a great job. We plan to use him again when we paint the exterior of the house.

Raffi was a consummate professional in both a quick redo on a guest room and then shortly thereafter a full-on redecoration of most of our new house. He was ready with an artistic opinion when needed and had a quick eye to what might or might not work with some of the more "adventurous" things we wanted. We did some unusual treatments and colors and he "got" them immediately: he was also patient and smiling with some do-overs (due to wrong calls on our part with colors- not due to any issue on Raffi's part). The place was spotless when he left, all the colors worked flawlessly, and he was beyond fair on the pricing. All that, and he loved our crazy puppy who, amazingly, didn't get into the paint. OK..almost didn't!

Rafi came to do estimate on the day after I called. He was on time and polite. He wanted to make sure that whatever I wanted would happen to my specifications. When Rafi arrived I had just been to the paint store and I didnt like the colors. I got a few more and didnt like these. I am usually very good with this but for some reason I couldnt put what I wanted into a can. Rafi worked with my wife and I to make it work and also suggested (to my wife's liking) to paint our fireplace a reddish brick color as opposed to a wall color. I got new paint and in the meantime he went to work prepping and making it ready. I never saw Rafi stop for a break except when I demanded we stop for lunch that I bought. On other days he brought me his special coffee and a beer from his country. Rafi is a very nice guy and his work is a 9. I like really razor sharp lines and he accomplished this without tape in most spots. Rafi was open to fixing any problems post job end. He is coming back in a few days to fix a trim color that I gave him the wrong color for. Rafi is dependable and experienced. Hire him.

Raffi was professional, honest, flexible, easy going, and dependable from start to finish. Raffi's background in traditional painting was one of the reasons we went with him. He was helpful in our selection of colors. My wife and I ended up buying dozens of samples, and Raffi sat with us and painted swatches throughout our home and in various lighting conditions to figure out the best color for each of our rooms. The one bump we did hit was there was a bad color mixture from the painting company when Raffi went back to pickup a second batch of paint. So after the paint had dried, there were some uneven spots on various segments of our walls. This was no fault to Raffi, but the painting company that mixed the paint. Raffi did come back and repaint several sections of our home, essentially adding a 3rd coat to many walls to even out the paint. One small thing is that I wished Raffi would have been more generous using his painters tape and taping off trims and sharp edges along doors, etc.- a small note that most other people probably wouldn't see, but my wife and I are a bit picky. He made sure we were happy with all the work, and coming back to retouch anything and everything we asked for. In the end, everything looked beautiful and we were extremely happy with the work.

Raffi C. was professional, punctual and very helpful. He and his team completed the work on time and did a very good job. I am very pleased with the end result.
