Jason came out, we picked out the garage door type and the installation took place --almost as planed. Jason called and said the garage door was not finished being built at the factory and that he would be out later that afternoon instead of in the morning as scheduled. Jason was kind enough to help me move a car that was not running before he began the installation. The installation went fine, but after Jason collected his check and left, we noticed the windows were cloudy and needed to be cleaned and by the next day, one of the emergency sensors had fallen and was left hanging loose, so we had to clean the windows and install the door sensor. Shortly afterwards the garage door started making grumbling sounds so I called Jason and he identified the noise as being due to tight hinges that our door was known to have and that it just needed to be lubricated with a special lubricant. Twice I set appointments with Jason to lubricate the doors and twice Jason did not show, nor call to reschedule. After the first "no show" I took some silicon lubricant to the hinges myself and it worked for awhile, but the noise came back. After his second "no show" I called and asked him to just drop off a can of the lubricant so that I can finish the job myself. I don't know if he will really do it or not, but I had to write this review to show my dissatisfaction with Jason and Tri0Ciunty Overhead Doors because this experience is the type of experience that we all subscribe to Angie's list to avoid. If Jason knew that the door hinges were known to make noise, he should have lubricated them as part of the installation at the onset, as well as clean the windows and install the door sensors properly. Until Jason learns to take care of his customers I don't think that Angie's list should have him on the list!

He does all the work himself. I got a little nervous when he was handling the door by himself. I did quite a bit of comparison, and he was about in the middle for price. He was punctual, and did a great job. I would use him again if I needed to.
Description of Work: I used Tri County Overhead Door about three years ago. He installed a new garage door.

The project's outcome fell far short of my expecations. First of all, I didn't live in this home at the time. I was renting it out. The old door was due for a replacement. I had my management company solicit 3 bids and I choose this company. After the project was complete, the initial report that I heard was that the installer was messy and never cleaned up after himeself. I inquired about the door and my management company insisted that it was fine. Well, a year and a half later, my tenants moved out and I went to inspect my home. From initial inspection of the garage door, I noted the following: 1. The tracks were not straight, causing the door to buckled towards the bottom. 2. The garage door opener reinstallation was completed botched forcing me to replace the entire garage door opener. He literally installed it so badly that it made a horrible sound every time I opened the door. In addition, he managed to damage the sensors so that the door didn't stop opening properly. 3. The garage door spring was not set to the right tension so the door doesn't stay opened if opened about 1/4 of the way. 4. I had to needle this guy to send me a proper invoice for my records. It took him about 2 weeks to finally deliver it. Needless to say, I will NEVER be using this guy ever again, especially after I payed for such horrible service. If I have to go in and fix a so called professional's paid service, then I'm better off doing the work myself, which is ridiculous.
Description of Work: The guy installed a new Wayne Dalton 9100 garage door. They removed the old dilapidated door, installed the new door, reconnected the garage door opener, and cut out a mail slot.
