Duerr Heating & Air Conditioning

I ran into some problems, They set a worker to evaluate my problem, and it turns out it was asbestos. They found me a specialist who would was able to remove the asbestos. All I had to do was just had to keep track of who was calling me and get the billed paid and that was it. It was really easy, they took care of everything. It took a lot of time, but it was easy. I am very happy.

The company was very knowledgeable, helpful with their suggestions, responsive, on time, and completed the job efficiently. they were very pleasant and accommodating.

Why I would not recommend Duerr Heating and Air? 1. Late to appointment, never called to inform customer they were running late 2. Representative who completed the inspection on Wednesday, July 10th set expectations I would receive a quote from Duerr Heating and Air that Friday or latest Monday, July 15th. 3. Monday, July 15th - Never received any email from Duerr Heating either on Friday or Monday, July 15th 4. Tuesday, July 16th I sent an email requesting bid from Duerr, same day received response from their office manager that the owner was working on putting my bid together 5. Tuesday, July 16th, after 5 pm received email from owner stating due to other ?job problems in the field ? it left no time to complete the quote. I find it interesting that the two other companies listed in Angie?s list were able to respond with a quote when they said they would which was either that same day or within 24 hours, actions always speak louder than apologizing for poor performance. There are no hard feelings I?m actually thankful that I didn?t use this company after all if you have problems with time management you will have issues completing a job on time. Simply I measured Duerr Heating against its competition and they fall short.

Replaced ducting in townhome. It was discovered during the home inspection that the ducting and been infested with roof rats. Duerr took out the existing ducting and replaced it with new. They were very cooperative in working with the rodent control companies time frame and the whole job went very smoothly. Owner and staff was very professional and extremely helpful with all of my concerns.

Duerr came out to look at our air conditioner which had stopped working during the last heat wave of the fall. I also had them check the furnaces because we had recently moved into our house and many things were not well maintained. They came, detemined what was wrong with the A/C and checked the furnaces. They recommended making some changes to the filter for the furnaces to make them easier to change and gave me and itemized estimate for each piece of work so I could choose to do some or all of it. They came back promptly to do the work I decided on, finished it in a timely manner and were very professional. They did a great job and I will definitely have them back for any other work we need done.

They were very pleasant, punctual, and good.

I have used them in the past too. They are reliable; if I am in a jam, they will come out even on Sundays. They are very friendly, and the price is right. I even got a Christmas card from them. The last time around, they came out for free because they had come out before to check the unit and then they came back for another adjustment. I would definitely use them again in the future. I found them as a result of a recommendation from a friend of mine, and I would recommend them to anybody that would ask for a recommendation.

He was able to fix it with replacement parts which saved us quite a bit of money. He came out on a Sunday when it was hot in the evening, around dinner time. He looked at the problem and the next day he had all the parts and was ready to go. He was punctual, did whatever he had to do and we were very pleased.
