Description of Work: They found that the blades on the fan of my refrigerator were bent. They straightened the blades and the refrigerator fan worked properly.

Description of Work: It was a quick and easy process to schedule the appointment and the technician came out the very next day. The technician informed me that the repair was actually very simple and made a deal with me on the service fee since the repair was terribly minor. Great service. I appreciate the technician's honesty. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: We bought a warranty through Sears for our washer so I'm not sure how much the approx. cost of the service. Service person was very friendly, answered my questions and gave some advice (since we've had trouble with the washer before). He changed the boot seal which was ripped and it met my satisfaction. However, after our first load, there was a bunch of tiny rubber bits all over the inside of our washer, on the door & on our clothes. We had another repairmen out again to make sure we weren't damaging our washer if we continued to use it after the rubber bits inside in which he wiped it and did a rinse through and gave us the ok. After a couple rinses it was fine. I also didn't realize that our other problems with the washer should've been documented by the service repairmen (this was our 2nd visit out of 3) and wish I had known that in case the problem arises again. Overall good service and repairmen are professional but wish I wasn't having to call them so often.

Description of Work: This was the second time we've used Spears. The first time we had the motor replaced on our dishwasher. No complaints. The technician's name was Dan He performed the work promptly and the dishwasher was fixed. The price was covered under our home warentee, at the time, so we just had to pay the deductible. The second time was to repair our LG washing machine. Dan was in and out in minutes. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We asked him about replacing the racks in our dishwasher, he was honest and said "for the amount you'd spend on replacing the racks you could buy a new dishwasher. That's the kind of honesty I appreciate. We use Spears South Bay Appliance and highly recommend them. Ask for Dan. Super cool and competent.

Description of Work: This company really goes the extra mile from start to finish! They were fast in getting me an appt for the diagnostic, they were also on time for the appt to look at my dishwasher. The tech was knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. He took his time and explained what was wrong and what my options were. I decided to purchase a new machine and went to their retail location where they had many options to choose from as well as a wonderful. Vincent A., one of the sales staff helped me to pick out the perfect model for my needs. I was not rushed at all. I felt very well informed when I left the store. They delivered my machine within 2 days and installed and set everything up, as well as giving me some very nice tips on a handout that will help me to maintain my new machine in ultimate condition and help to keep it running better for longer. I got a great price on the model I chose and am very, very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. As an added benefit I now have a place to go when I need service on all my other appliances. Spears is the best company I have delt with in a long time and it will be my only repair and replacement company for large appliances from now on! Description of Work: They came out and looked at my dishwasher, microwave and front loader washing machine. The dishwasher was fine, apparently user error. The microwave's fan had fallen off and broken. They were not able to find the part as it was so old. They sold me a new microwave, gave me several options and installed it. The washing machine needed a part, but I had to call two days later to find out when it would be in. They had not ordered it or called me to find out if I wanted it. It took 5 days for it to get in. I had asked them to do the microwave installation and the washer repair on the same day and time to save having to be there for two more appointments. They assured me it would happen and wrote a note in my file. When the part came for the washer they called to schedule, but could not get the microwave installed for two more days, even though I had asked and confirmed this would happen. I went ahead and scheduled them separately. However when the washer part was installed the washer broke again, so I had to wait until a repairman could come back out and he said he needed another part. So I waited another two days and they came to fix the washer and install the microwave, but I had two different 3-hour windows in the same day. They were supposed to call 30 minutes prior for every visit, but they didn't, they just showed up. |The follow up was just not good. Even though I followed up with them and confirmed, they didn't call or couldn't schedule things together as they said they could. It was a long couple of weeks without a washing machine.

Description of Work: Price not competitive at all, so ended up at Sears. Sales person kept us there for a very long time just to give us high quote. What a waste of time.
