The installation and repair went very well. We had previously used a general contractor for the front part of our house who failed miserably. We had leaks and he had to re-do it two times. With Taylor Roofing, he did the job exactly when we asked for it (no waiting around for when he could fit us in between jobs) and he did it efficiently. We have had big rains since the installation/repair by Taylor Roofing and there have been no problems (thus the late entry for this review). I always wince when going with the lowest bid, since this was the lowest bid, but he accomplished exactly what the bid proposal set out and we are dry!! This was not a very big job, but it was done well and for a very competitive price with good service.

I contacted J Taylor Roofing for an estimate to replace my roof and set up an apppointment. A representative showed up at the appoointed time and identified himself. He then went up on the roof and I assume he made measurements. He then told me he would send an estimate of the job. The eatimate arrived a few days later. I was dissapointed that no information about the company was forthcomming and no references of previous work were given. There was no way to know where he had worked in the past or what the quality of his work might be or how many jobs he had completed. As a result I choose not to use J Taylor for my roofing neds.

they were concerned to start in any kind of bad weather, so we had to wait about a month after the scheduled start date until the stars aligned. But I understood the need for caution on their end. the install went well except that they somehow didn't have enough of the roofing material we selected... so that delayed the project from the estimated 4 days to about 7 or 8 days. and there was one tricky spot on the roof through which I could see sunlight that they had to come back and repair. somehow I was still very happy with them after all that, and I would recommend their service!

-Excellent and neat tearing off old roof (this job was performed by subs hired by them). -Good job staying on schedule -Problems with city inspector. The company suggested the removal and replacement of 20, 4x8 plywood boards. The inspector did not originally pass. He had them replace an additional 20 boards (I am not sure if it was an overzealous inspector or not) The inspector also had them "fill-in" low spot areas that could cause "ponding". The inspector also required other minor upgrades to their job. The company complied and the roof passed the final inspection. -If you use the company, I suggest you insist on a qualified/certified inspector as part of your contract. I believe the company is honest and diligent, but it is better to spend a little more money and get the best job. -The price of the job was excellent -They also did a good job keeping in the loop on issues that came up. -Excellent customer service -I will give a final review after the first heavy rain occurs.

They are on time, they are friendly, they do what they say, they don't overcharge, and they fix it! They are one of my favorite companies.

They came, did the job, left the work area clean. I would recommend them and use them again.
