Bought a Big Deal for $180. Charlie showed up on time and- as usual- performed perfectly and professionally. This is the third time that I have utilized Charlie's services at my house and will continue to use him for any additional dry-wall needs that may come up in the future. He does good work!

Charlie and his son Chuck are real professionals. They removed old lath and plaster in the ceiling and patched with drywall. Also scraped all the old acoustic off of the ceilings and applied plaster coat and a beautiful cloud texture. They tarped everything off so this messy job stayed contained in the rooms they were working in. There was hardly any cleanup required when they left. The job was performed exactly as promised. The ceiling is beautiful! My husband is a bit of a perfectionist and is hard to please, but Charlie and Chuck did such a great job that even hubby was happy, a miracle! Thanks Charlie and Chuck!!

He arrived on time and completed the job on time. He is neat during the work and a very polite and informing man. He will be on my list for any future wall work. This was a remodel that I am managing for a 1926 built bathroom. Since the walls were lathe and plaster and the floor had multiple layers of flooring, it took some time to get the room ready for dry wall. All interior and exterior walls were rigid foam insulated for temperature and sound control by myself. All wiring was upgraded before Charlie started his work. The floor was leveled and covered in backer board. Charlie had to work with walls and a ceiling that was not square plus a custom designed tile mosaic inset around the complete center of the wall. To say the least, it was a complex installation in a small place and Charlie worked it all out.

Charlie was prompt, professional, and I am very happy with the work he did for me. I will definitely use him in the future.

Charlie was so responsive. He came out and gave us a bid and we know the bid was fair because we got a couple of estimates. We have a very picky tenant living in the home and he raved about how Charlie did the job in one day and as promised, did not leave the home covered with drywall dust. When we saw his work we were very impressed with the quality of workmanship.

It was great! They were here for the whole two hours. They were also very tidy and clean. They covered all the walls and floors to protect them.

Charlie came to give an estimate after the earthquake caused a lot of damage to my home. He saw I was pretty upset and talked and calmed me down, explained things to me and went over the entire house so we'd not miss anything. He was booked for a few weeks but at least I knew what shape the house was in. That alone was worth a ton to me. He ended up contacting me and able to get our house in earlier than planned and that was great news. I thought 3 days at least but they knocked it out in 2 days. They didn't miss a thing. I was so impressed. I would recommend them to anyone.

When I originally called Charlie said that he would have his son come out to give us an estimate. He then called back and said that he would be coming out to do the estimate. He came out and we walked around the house and he took a bunch of notes and said he would call me back with an estimate. He called me back and said that he could not do the work but he would have his son do the work. His son was supposed to come out and take a look at the job which he never did. I talked to Charlie again and he said that his son was out of town and was not interested in the job. I requested that Charlie complete the work which he agreed to at a price of $3,000. I then talked to him later that day and he had changed the estimate to $4000 for absolutely no reason at all. He said that he did not review the job well enough the first time and wanted to back and take another look. I told him I was not interested in him doing the work after changing the estimate and he denied the entire time that he ever quoted me $3000 in the first place. He told me twice that he would do the work for $800.00 deposit and $3000.00 total, then when he had me set up and scheduled he switched the price on me to over $4000. He claims he never told me $3000 which is completely untrue. This is bait and switch.

Never showed up. He forgot to write down our meeting. I called twice and waited for 45 minutes. I then received a VM from him stating we had no appointment per his VM/email log. I sent him a message telling him we made it here, via ANgies list. He said he forgot and was very apologetic and could we reschedule. I said no, if he cant remember to write down an appt for a new customer I cannot rely on him. He begged me not to write this review .... but I feel it is important that I do. It is the point of Angies list.

Charlie does fantastic work- great attention to detail. It took us quite a while to connect due to both of our busy schedules, but his work is worth the wait if you are not on a strict timetable.

I hired Tru-Wall Pro Services to repair a large section of dry-wall (4'x4') in the hallway of our downstairs ceiling. The area was damaged by a water leak from an upstairs bathroom. Charlie arrived on time to look at the area in support of providing an estimate. He was professional and got back to us promptly the next morning via email, as promised, with a priced estimate. After exchanging a few follow-up emails, we booked an appointment with Charlie for the work to be performed later in the week. On the morning of the appointment, I remembered that there was a can light in the damaged section of the ceiling that needed to be replaced. I contacted Charlie early in the morning. He was able to accommodate the late-breaking change. The repair was performed by one of Charlie's employees and took a full day. The completed work was excellent! The ceiling texture matches the surrounding area perfectly. Our experience working with Charlie and Tru-Wall was extremely positive. We highly recommend Tru-Wall and will definitely use them again. The drywall repair cost $265, including texture. The can light replacement was $175.

When they finished you would never know that anything had ever happened. Excellent work, arrived promptly for the estimate and when doing the repairs.

Charlie showed up on time and did a great job! He worked very cleanly and efficiently and even repaired an extra spot or two of damaged drywall that I forgot to point out to him. I would definitely use Tru-Wall Pro Services again.

SP didn't show up and had to find someone else and no longer need the deal.

Charlie was courteous and responsive when I requested a quote to do dry wall repair at my home. I thought the price he quoted me was very fair so I requested that he do the drywall repair, patching and texture coating. He was prompt and the quality of his work was excellent. Overall, I was very happy with the results and would recommend him to my friends.
