Charlie did a great and honest job. He worked efficiently and made the repair look great. I highly recommend his services and will use him for future jobs.

TruWall's owner agreed to arrive between 1-4 pm to provide a free estimate for work. He did not call during this time to communicate he was running late. He did not answer his phone when I called. He arrived late about 5 pm. I asked him to furnish an estimate for water damaged drywall repair, painting and minor electrical work (all services listed on profile as provided by his company). Except for the electrical work, this scope was described by my initial Angieslist message. He surprised me by saying he did not perform painting or electrical work. Later he said he was busy. After all of this, he made up excuses why he could not provide an estimate for even the drywall repairs. I have obtained multiple estimates for this same work from other top rated AngiesList companies and all estimates were cheerfully and promptly provided. In addition, all other companies set a specific time to meet at the site and actually showed up at the agreed time. What a waste of time working with Tru-Wall Pro. I would not recommend this company except for very minor repairs and... Make sure that you have the time to waste. (Since my initial review, Tru-Wall has provided comments to the effect that he is more experienced than me: maybe I am a simple homeowner or a woman who doesn't understand construction. I would like to clarify that I have been a licensed engineer for 35 years, with primary experience in the building and construction areas. I have worked as a construction manager for over 10 years on many projects exceeding $10 million. I have rental properties, and am well familar with water damage problems, as well contractor excuses.)

I called 9 days ago for an estimate of a project, I never received a call back.

Charlie did an excellent job repairing the ceiling after our pipe leak. He was able to match the texture and blend the damaged area into the surrounding ceiling area.

Called him out for a quote. He came out to see all the things I needed to have repaired. Gave an email quote the next few days, then took 2 days to complete the work. He did a great job fixing all my drywall problems after a kitchen remodel and patched the ceiling from water damage and holes from old light fixture locations.

Our walls had some minor cracks (plaster/lathe) and Charlie repaired them beautifully. He had to clean them out, put some type of mesh and smooth it out. You can't even tell something was wrong with the wall before! He is super nice and personable as well which is awesome when you have someone in your home. I did not feel uncomfortable or anything. A+!

We sent pictures so he knew what he had to do before he arrived. He arrived on time. He went right to work. He was courteous and professional. He fixed all of the holes. The work done was excellent. He charged us for the time worked and not his lunch break. He stated up front that we had to pay for drywall and he doesn't paint. He was able to use remnants for most of the work. We are very happy with the work done. We will have him back to do some other minor repairs in the future. I would recommend him to our friends.

Charlie did great work. We had orange peel texture in our master bedroom and my wife wanted no texture on the walls. It only took Charlie two days and afterwards you can't tell that there was ever orange peel texture before.

CHARLIE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE AND EVEN GAVE ME THE NAME OF AN ELECTRICIAN TO CALL ABOUT INSTALLING A CEILING FAN. IN THE END, I WENT WITH A COMPANY MY NEIGHBOR RECOMMENDED WHO HAD AN ELECTRICIAN ON THEIR TEAM FOR A LITTLE LESS MONEY. (I DON'T HAVE THE ESTIMATE IN FRONT OF ME, BUT THE CEILING FAN WAS DEFINITELY LESS. ) I HAVEN'T HAD THE WORK DONE YET SO I HOPE I'M PLEASED BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED CHARLIE.

Charlie and his crew did a great job! He came out the next day after my call and provided a reasonable estimate via email. In the beginning I shared my concerns with Charlie about wanting a quality job done on a long awaited kitchen remodeling project. He installed new kitchen drywall and tied it in with the existing old drywall in a seamless manner. Numerous holes left by the electrician who installed recessed lighting, switches, and outlets were patched and sanded in a professional manner. Charlie was easy to work with and I would contract with him again if needed in the future. Thanks Charlie!

Charlie was on time and did the work as expected. He had to take the baseboard back to his office to get a good mite cut. He also cut some other baseboard for us. He returned and finished the job. This is OK but I think most others would carry a good miter saw with them and save a trip. My only complaint is he had no invoices with him and he said he would send us one since I still owed him $75. However, after 10 days I had to call and remind him. I then sent him and email with a reminder of what was needed on the invoice. He sent back a Word document that was not very professional. So, I had to modify it to show the $75 I was to send. The bottom line is that he does great work at a reasonable price but he needs to be a little more business-like with his billing. I could have easily not reminded him and saved the $75. As it was, I had to do some work just to documented the $75 I sent.

Charlie was a little late in arriving, but nothing major. He not only repaired the broken drywall, but repaired another section nearby that was failing as well, no extra charge. He and his assistant took great care to clean up afterwards, making sure there were no leftover nails laying around our garage floor. Would recommend this vendor easily!

Called and got a response to give estimate the next day, work was completed same day. The price was very good, and he was very clean and quick. Did an excellent job with repair, when done you couldn't tell there was any work done. I would definately call again if I needed a dry wall expert.

He was very professional and very detailed in his work. He cleaned up everything he messed up to make sure that he didn’t make any mess to rest of the house. He was very meticulous to the type of work that he did. He cleaned up after himself afterwards. He was very fair in his pricing. He was pretty punctual. He gave us a time range like he was there at a certain time. Everything was very good.

Charlie was prompt, courteous, and professional on the job. He worked very cleanly and did the job for the special price offered on line. We highly recommend Charlie and will be using him for any future drywall projects.

Charlie was easy to deal with and the work preformed was great. The job was difficult, labor intensive and took a bit longer to get done but Charlie didn't flinch and completed everything perfectly. Thanks again for an outstanding job.

Charlie came to my home and gave estimate. Room done was a 21' x 12' family room with dingy, dated wood paneling. The room is a 1969 add-on that is open to the original living room. We wanted to upgrade the room to match the plaster in the rest of the home. There was a window and sliding door replacement coming up, so the window guys could do new molding, which is part of their installation normally. The work was completed promptly and turned out great. The combination of getting rid of the old (dark) paneling, matching the plaster and color of the living room (and new windows and doors) was an amazing transformation.
