He did a great job, always returned my phone calls, was responsive through email, and did a good job scraping my ceilings. He left the job site clean. I will use him again.

Charlie came over to the house the day I called and gave me an estimate to complete the job of framining in a closet to be added to the master bedroom. There was a alcove in the room to begin with so only a frame around the area needed to be added. If it had only been a matter of putting up a couple of 2x4's I would have done in myself, but I wanted the new frame to match the existing wall. That was going to require drywalling the 2x4's mudding, taping, sanding, etc. Charlie came back a few days after the estimate with all the material needed, framed the closet and but up the drywall. He came back the following day, a Saturday, and finished the project. The next day we painted the new drywall that was textured exactly like the existing wall. When that paint dried you would never know that the frame had not been there since the day the house was built. Charlie did everything he said he would, which encluded putting some supports in the attic for supporting the top of the frame. He did this quickly and efficiently. He did a great job. In fact we are going to have him back to fix up all the places I've tried to patch (added an outlet for the TV on the wall and when I put the drywall back and tried to match the old wall... Lets just say I'm not a professional and Charlie is.

I think the Angie's deal got him a lot of business as I was not able to get a quick date -- however that's probably a good sign.

I called Tru-Wall Pro and was told he would come by at noon on Jan 16th. Charles arrived promptly at noon and I had contracted for 2 hours of drywall work to be performed. I had 1 bathroom that I had removed the medicine cabinet and 3 bathrooms that I had removed the built-in toothbrush holders. The work was done perfectly and the job was finished within the 2 hours. I had forgotten that I was responsible for providing the drywall but fortunately Charles had enough with him to do the job. I was not charged for the drywall that Tru-Wall Pro provided. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend this contractor.

This was an Angies Deal. Every once in a rare while a tradesman comes comes along who is exceptional. That is Charlie. Our job was to patch drywall that had been removed by our plumber to repair a water leak. The holes were in a very difficult location in the ceiling and wall above and behind a large water heater. Openings for the vent and plumbing pipes were very neatly cut in. The "Deal" only included 2 hours of work so we figured extra time would be needed. No! Charlie patched the 2ft x 2ft openings, taped and textured them and was just finishing wet sanding in two 2 hours. The repair was better than the original because of how neatly the vent & pipes were so well fitted with the drywall. Our pinter was impressd with the smooth finish. Charlie is unusually good natured with a great smile and is simply a very nice clean cut man who made me feel good in our brief conversation. He also does other work ie, finish carpentry, tile etc. If you need these kind of services, hire him. I will.

The job went extremely well. After contacting Tru-Wall in the morning, the technician arrive at noon the same day to do the job. Plastic sheeting was installed to protect the cabinets and floors from dust and splatter. Upon completion all of the plastic was carefully removed and discarded - there was no mess at all. The work was completed within the two-hour time window, with perfect results.

I decided to go with Charlie from Tru-wall because of all the great reviews on Angie's List and the fact that he is local. He was quick to respond to a message I left for him and was able to check out the work to be done and provide an estimate right away. All questions were answered and he was very informative. The price was very reasonable and there was no pressure at all from him to provide the services needed. He takes pride in the work he does and it shows. Between him and his brother Bob, they were always on-time and ready to work. They were very friendly and professional. There was no doubt that I picked the right person for the job. I will recommend them to others and I will definitely use them again if need be.

Charlie is very nice and easy to work with. He did everything he said he would do (and then some!) and finished when he said he would. He obviously takes a lot of pride in the quality of his work. Drywall is a messy job, but he cleaned up completely when he was done. We will definitely use him again in the future.

I called to make an appointment, and Charlie answered right away. He said he was out of his office and did not have his schedule with him but said he was sure he could do the job within about a week and asked me to call him back in a couple of days, which I did, and we agreed to set the job appointment for Nov 10, 2012. Charlie arrived on time and did an outstanding job patching the drywall. He completed the patching in both rooms within the 2 hours on the Big Deal. Both rooms were painted the following week, and the walls look perfect - you can't even see where the patches were made, and a couple of the holes were pretty big. I would highly recommend Charlie to anyone who needs drywall repair.

The quality of work was excellent and my other contractors (painters, flooring guy, kitchen guy) who came and work on the house afterwards all noted that the drywall finish was very professionally done. A couple of months later when I was getting ready to sell my other place, because Charlie was busy, I got another drywall guy to do the ceiling and the interior walls before putting it on the market. The quality was definitely lesser than Charlie's work. Now I probably wouldn't have noticed the difference in quality if I had only hired the second drywall guy for all my work. But once you see Charlie's quality, you're kind of spoiled.

I contacted Charlie to come out and give me a quote to remove the popcorn ceilings in my condo. He came out and measured and asked if I wanted smooth or textured ceilings. I told him I wasn't sure and he offered to make samples for me to review if I decided to use him. He took my e-mail address and said he would send me a quote, which he did a couple of hours later. His price was better than the other quote I had gotten and given the good Angie's list reviews I decided to use him. The next day he dropped off the samples for me to look at. Charlie took every precaution to protect my floors and walls. When I couldn't get a hold of my handyman to remove the fixtures; Charlie offered to take them down for a extra fee of $100.00. He took down the two light fixtures, a ceiling fan, the vertical blinds and a mirrored wall cabinet which was very difficult to remove. He even patched the walls after removing the cabinet and blinds. He also patched a big crack in the ceiling that was uncovered after the popcorn was removed. In our original discussion I had told Charlie that I wanted the insides of the closets done; but forgot to ask him to do the insides the hallway cabinets too. I realized this after he had finished plastering the ceiling. I left him a note asking him to do the insides of the cabinets and he did them for me. He did a good job cleaning up after the job was done. I am pleased with look of my new ceilings and highly recommend Tru-Wall Pro Services.

Charlie showed up within the time-frame he quoted me, and worked diligently to repair our drywall. After re-plumbing the house, the drywall around all the plumbing fixtures was pretty tricky, and normally I would repair the drywall myself. But with all the pipes to work around, I was very thankful that Charlie was there to save the day. I used the Big Deal coupon for 2 hours of work, and it took him another hour to finish everything beautifully, which I knew about in advance. He had quoted me before he did the work about how much it would cost for over the 2-hour coupon time limit.

He was very professional and performed the work as promised. I would also note that he was very organized and left the materials in such a way that we could easily have him (or someone else) reverse the work without any trouble. He was also very courteous. Would definitely hire him again.

Charlie is very professional and personable. He arrived on time on and finished in a reasonable length of time. Texturing is a messy job and he took great care to keep everything neat and clean and confined to the one room. Workmanship is outstanding. No lumps, bumps, or joint lines. Texture is even and consistent. I just wish I had hired him to do the other rooms that I did myself.

He arrived and saw that he could complete the work within the 2 hours that we had purchased the Angie's List coupon. He completed the work satisfactorily. He did NOT re-paint over the patches.

Purchased an Angie's Deals from this company, good for 2 hours of drywall repair. Charles showed up 10 minutes early, ready to work. He completed the work quickly and his clean up was exceptional. We were very happy with the deal and we will certainly use Tru-Wall for any future drywall or plastering needs.

Charlie has excellent workmanship, and cleans up all areas he has worked in. Also, he covers up the surrounding areas for protection of the home. He works quickly, efficiently, and fixes other areas he can within the time frame. I was very impressed with his work, and would use him again.

Charlie expertly repaired a hole in my kitchen ceiling that was a result of a water leak in the bathroom above. He was polite, professional, and even dealt with my two curious cats who were VERY interested in watching him perform his work. I would definitely recommend him for any type of drywall work and would use him again in the future in a heartbeat. This was an excellent "Big Deal" value.

Charlie returned my initial call promptly. We set up a time for him to do the repair but then I had to change it. Rescheduling was no problem and he was very flexible in working out a time with me. I showed him the jobs that I needed done and he told me how much he felt he could get done in the 2 hrs that I contracted for. It seemed reasonable to me. He went straight to work and completed the work with about 15 minutes to spare. I was satisfied with his work and he was friendly and professional.

He was very nice,professional and very detailed about his work.The work done to repair my wall was so good that you can't tell there was an old door opening there before.He made sure not to get our white carpet dirty. You can tell he was skilled at his work. When we save up enough cash, we are definitely are going to call him back to do more wall repair as well as removing the popcorn ceiling i have in my house. The guy who came down to do the job was very friendly and he did a great job. It was done quick and he did what I needed him to do. You cannot even say where he did the repair work. He did a wonderful job. My overall experience with him was excellent.
