Ed called me back right away, we had a broken ac unit. He drove all the way over to us on a Saturday evening and replaced the motor to fix the unit. He explained everything he did to me, there was no hand waving or made up prices. In the end I have working ac again, I better understand how to maintain the unit we have and I have a repair man for life :). I couldn t have asked for a better outcome here, excellent work.

They were amazing through and through honest quick and came late at night last minute in a heat wave so grateful for the excellent and honest service.

Ed came at 10:45 pm after promising he would come on Saturday. He updated me several times on how late he would be coming. He gave me the option to come the first thing next morning but I was dying of heat and wanted him whenever he could make. He took me to roof and held my hand when it got scary. He showed what he was doing and showed me the product he would be using to remedy problem. He also walked me through setting up my new Nest thermostat and installed it for me. When I went to pay him his very reasonable fee he would not accept my check He told me to give it three weeks to make sure fix was successful and call him and request an invoice then. Really??? Who does business like that? I would have given him my first born for cool air at that point. Ed is a prince among men. Not only that but he does what he says and knows what he s doing. He has restored my faith in humanity. What a guy!!

After receiving outrageously high quotes from another company (and charged a $99 diagnostic fee), in addition to recommending that we replace our unit; I found Ken through Home Advisor. He came within an hour after texting our address. Ken was knowledgeable, honest and extremely nice. My husband and I were very impressed with him and trust him and his work completely. We highly recommend Patriot Energy!

I have two AC systems that service our home. The unit that services our bedrooms was not cooling properly. I checked with AngiesList and HomeAdvisor and found several recommendations and after reading the reviews, I chose Patriot Energy, owned and operated by Ed Roche. He was the quickest to return my call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. When he arrived, he was ready to examine and fix the malfunctioning unit. He found a leak and was able to stop the leak with some sort of a sealer additive. Then he quoted me the amount of Freon 22 (an older gas) that was needed to fully charge the system. He explained that the newer units use a different Freon (I knew that) but because the Freon 22 was in limited supply, it was going to cost more. It was expensive for the gas, but far less than buying a new system with the new Freon. The service call was fair and he gave me a five year warranty on the unit since he said it was in good shape and he was confident that the leak was stopped. The first night after Ed arrived, the bedrooms were cool. However, the third night was not as comfortable after it had been a hotter day than the two previous days. I placed a call to Ed and left a message. He immediately responded and set up a time to recheck the unit. When he arrived, he went straight to the unit and tested it for leaks and didn't find any. He then went up into my attic and found duck problems that were probably created by my Pest Control workers who had gone up into my attic and were apparently far too rough with the ducting. Ed cleaned my electrostatic air filters, repaired the ducks and resealed them and now everything seems to be working just fine. He is professional, clean and knowledgeable! He is now my regular AC/Heat go to person!

Veteran owned business, He was able to fit us in during his busiest time during, he did it a heat wave. It meant him working until midnight to get our A/C unit replaced

I called Patriot Energy when my AC unit went out. I needed same day service, and Ed (the owner) called me immediately to confirm my appointment, since I made the appointment through HomeAdvisor. Ed had planned on coming out to fix my AC unit, but when another client took longer than expected, he called me and let me know that he would not be able to make it, but he would make sure to send another tech out to take care of my problem. Brian (the tech) was very knowledgeable and respectfully answered all of my questions. When it turned out my capacitor had burnt out, he thankfully had another one and was able to fix my AC unit. He made sure that it was functioning and then went on to perform maintenance on the unit to make sure that I didn't have any more problems. They did such a good job, that I recommended them to other tenants in my large apartment complex in Anaheim. Everyone that used Patriot was satisfied and thrilled that they were able to show up on short notice. I would definitely recommend Patriot Energy and I would use them in the future. If you are looking for knowledgeable and responsive repairmen, then look no further.

Ed came and troubleshoot my central air and explain to me in detail how and why it was not working and what he will do to fix it. Very honest and sincere to give us the best to fix my air condition. The price is very reasonable and he has all the necessary parts to fix my A/C and after 2 weeks my central air is still working fine our home is cool to stay inside during heat wave.
