Things went very well. Aston is very professional, friendly, and did a great job. Originally, we only inquired about the area in the kitchen but when he arrived, we showed him the other two areas that needed fixing and he gladly repaired those also. I would highly recommend Aston and would use him again in the future.

Aston is truly a master craftsman and takes tremendous pride in what he does. He will not accept a job that he cannot ensure the best work possible. His attentional to detail goes from beginning to end with proper site preparation and a thorough cleanup/touchup. In addition to skill, Aston also embraces strong work ethic and integrity. He will be honest with you whether you like it or not. He would rather walk away from a job than see a customer without all of the information to make the best decision. Lastly, his pricing is more than reasonable especially taking into consideration the quality of his work. I will definitely be calling Aston again because I have two more large walls which need complete stucco work.

He responded to my email very quickly, and was able to schedule an appointment for a free estimate the next day. We had crumbling stucco on the side of our house where sprinklers had been misdirected for a long time. My husband and I were very pleased to be told that it was actually a smaller job than we had expected. The cost was very reasonable and Aston was able to set up an appointment to come back the next day and complete the job. He laid down plastic on the grass outside the house to capture the pieces of stucco he had to remove. When he was finished, the stucco texture matched the surrounding stucco perfectly, and the yard was completely free of debris. On top of being dependable and fair-priced, he was a real pleasure to chat with!

Aston did an above-and-beyond job. He is really experienced at what he does and it shows in our house! We are very pleased with the quality of work, professionalism, punctuality and, most importantly for me, knowledge of his work. I had know idea what what truly needed to be done with the work of installing windows and stuccoing around them (to clarify, Aston didn't install windows, just patchwork around them). I was educated by Aston about what was correctly needed to be done for my particular situation. I would never known otherwise and I know I would not have gotten that care or attention from another. Aston truly cares about his work and making sure it is done right, not only for himself, but for you! You really can't find too many quality workers like this anymore. The only thing I was hesitant on was the price. I was comparing and getting other estimates. After learning from Aston and seeing pictures of his prior jobs, I knew I was getting our moneys worth with him. Worth every penny. He gave me so much advice and answered all my questions before he even had the job. I really, really appreciated that because that is what helped me make a good decision for our home. Thank you a million times over Aston! If I come across anyone for a stucco or patchwork job, I will insist they hire you!

Aston was a pleasure to deal with. He made it easy to set up the job, even giving me an estimate from iPhone photos of the damage. The quality of the work is excellent, and once it's painted there will be no trace of the damage.

Based on reviews and seeing that the company was willing to do small jobs, I telephoned Patchwork's Patching. The call was answered by Aston Hill, the owner of the company, and I explained that a painter had attempted to repair a poor stucco application on my fireplace that had been done the month before, resulting in the "fix" looking worse than the original job. Aston was working nearby and came to my house about an hour later. We agreed upon a price and Aston was able to start right away. He was very careful to protect the surrounding surfaces by taping plastic all around. He applied the plaster and said it needed to dry a few days before he returned. He returned today to sand the plaster to a uniform finish. In order to avoid getting plaster dust all over the room, he taped up an enclosed area of plastic to work in. When he was finished, he vacuumed and cleaned the area. His work is meticulous and the finished product is perfect! I couldn't be more pleased!

He called me back ,where other contractors did not, in a very timely manner. Instead of wasting my time with an appt for an estimate he had me e-mail pictures of the area to be fixed!! Then he e-mailed me back THE SAME DAY WITH A REASONABLE QUOTE. HE ALSO GAVE ME A DATE (2 DAYS LATER) TO FIX MY PROBLEM. HIS WORK WAS EXEMPLARY AND WOULD USE HIM ANY TIME WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!

I recently had some landscaping done that removed a large planter box at the base of an exterior wall. This box contained multiple tall bushes, that once removed exposed some surface damage to the stucco in several spots. After searching Angie's list for reviews of contractors near my home, I contacted Aston through Angie's list via an email with Photos & My Contact info). Aston responded the next morning and we setup a time a few days later (due to my availability) for him to stop by the house and talk through the scope of work. Aston arrived at the agreed upon time (he was early actually) and within five minutes he was able to assess the damage and give me an quote for labor and materials. I also asked him give me a quote on some concrete damage to a 2nd floor balcony. He was very straightforward about his concerns with the damage and the possible implications to the waterproofing and structure of the balcony. He suggested I call in a roofing/patio contractor to assess the scope of work. After that conversation I decided to skip the balcony repair until I do more research. Finally, My wife and I eventually plan on resurfacing the whole exterior of the home. Aston was very helpful in giving a ballpark estimate of the work, but also explaining the process and all the steps that would be needed. I'm extremely happy with Aston's workmanship, but also his willingness to share his expert opinion. I also appreciate that he is willing to say no to work that he feels would not be in the homeowners (my) best interest. With all that being said, we proceeded with just the stucco repair above the planters. I left Aston with a handshake and he said he could do the work the next day. No money up front, just pay him when I'm happy. When I arrived home the next day, the wall was patched and looks great. The only thing I need to do now is to paint to match the existing exterior. I couldn't be happier and I will use Aston again without hesitation.

We wanted 2 unused doggy doors covered as though they never existed. Looks amazing and you wouldn't be able to tell they were there. We also needed an old doorway covered and plastered since we were creating a new doorway on another wall. Texture is spot on. It could maybe use a little sanding in a couple areas but overall great experience. Pleasant and very polite.

He arrived when he said he would, did a FANTASTIC job, i mean really! and cleaned up and he was very pleasant and we chatted for a bit and i would highly recommend him for any patch job you have. Very professional and the eyesore that was my wall is no longer. (i wanted to post photos of before and after but i couldn't figure out how to!)

Aston communicated very well from start to finish. All calls and texts were answered or returned in a timely manner. The work started and ended on schedule. When he was running late or needed to postpone work for a day, he texted to let me know and didn't leave me hanging. The quality of the work was good. The wall looks like new. I recommend and would use his services again. I'm very satisfied.

Contacted Aston thru Angie?s List along with two other contractors. Aston and one other contractor responded that morning. Both requested photos and measurements, which saved me and them a lot of time, as I don?t need a quote from someone who didn?t perform the type of work needed. I had talked to a few knowledgeable people at home improvement stores and had some idea of how the work needed to be done. Aston not only quoted the work as recommended by Omega stucco company, but came out to look at the job to verify what was needed and what I wanted. Prompt, courteous and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend him.

I contacted him through both by phone & by email. He responded my email promptly. He was punctual, friendly and courteous. He was not the low bidder. Since he has a very good reviews on Angie's list, I hired him for the work. He did a great job and will hire him back in the future.

Aston arrived when he said he would and immeditately started laying down plastic to cover and protect my property. Two of the exterior openings were second story level, but no problem, Aston setup scafolding and knocked it out. I have used Aston several times and each time I do, he is courteous, hard working, and respectful! His work is high quality and as the other reviews state, there are cheaper contractors to go with, but if you really want to be happy with the end result, call Aston.

I called Aston because of all the great Angie's List reviews and he got back to me within 5 minutes of my call. We spoke briefly and I emailed him a photo of the job. He promptly emailed me a quote with a detailed explanation of the steps he would take to repair the opening in the stucco, as well as some photos of his work. Aston showed up on time, was very professional and extremely courteous. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He did the preliminary work on Saturday, let it dry on Sunday and returned Monday morning to finish the 2nd coat. He matched the existing pattern of the stucco on our home perfectly. He let us know in advance that the painting of the stucco would be up to us, and that was fine. He cleaned up thoroughly both days (even though we told him he could leave the plastic masking up over the weekend he said it didn't look professional and he didn't want the front of our house to look bad). He took great care with our patio furniture and plants, moved or covered everything, took his boots off if he came into the house, explained what he was doing, encouraged us to call with any follow up questions, and was just as polite as any contractor I've every known! We've already asked him back for a 2nd job we're planning for later this summer. I highly recommend Aston!

Met with Aston to walk through the job and he provided me with the information as to how it would all be done. I was provided a quote by email and based on my good luck with highly rated Angie's list providers I chose him to do the work. The work was done in phases. The lath and paper was done first for purposes of inspection. The work looked fantastic and was better than what I have seen done before. Once this was completed I had the inspection completed and I was there personally to work with the inspector so that I could get some other items inspected as well as the lath work. The inspector signed off on the work an commented that he has never seen this good of a job done. The next phase was to complete the brown coat which looked really good once completed. At this point we had to wait one week to make sure that is properly cured. He returned the next week to complete the job by doing the color coat. In between he also did some drywall work that came out very nice and matched up well to the custom finish that was already in place. The bottom line is that the work is fantastic. It all matches and I am extremely pleased with the end result. I gave him a B on price because there are lower prices as well as others who charge more out there to be found but I can guarantee you that there will not be a better end result for the money than this. I would use Aston again and I already have plans to do so. I would recommend him to anyone.

Ashton replied to my phone calls in a very timely manner and provided a very detailed bid. All the work was very well done, he arrived on time and finished in time the home was just as clean when he left as it was when he arrived. I would not hesitate to use his services again and would highly recommend him to anyone I know.

When I first contacted Aston, he asked me to send a photo showing the wall so that he could give me a quote. After he gave me the quote via email, he came out to see the walls, and confirmed his original quote. We decided upon a day, and he came on that day to begin the work. I was impressed with how he put the wiring into the long hole which would prepare it for the cement/stucco. He returned on another day to finish. During the whole time, he kept in contact via text message, and/or email. I am VERY pleased with the work he did. I have already asked for a quote for other work which I need to have done. I would highly recommend him!

This was my first contractor that I found through Angie's List, and i am pleased that the reviews I read were accurate. I called Aston Hill this morning at around 11 am and left a message. Received my call back five minutes later. He gave me a cell phone number and asked if I could take pictures of the job to do, which in my case was decayed plaster that came off the two corners of my back wall due to water damage. He gave me a rough quote on the phone at $200, which is the minimum for a home visit, and we set time for 1pm the same day. He arrived at the house at 12:59 pm, and he first conducted a careful survey of all of my stucco as per my request. He then explained clearly what he would do, and the products that he would be applying. He completed the job efficiently, the stucco texture match was spot on perfect, and he was very careful to cover the ground around the job, and thoroughly cleaned his work area at the conclusion of the job. Stucco is really more art than science, and well beyond the capabilities of a weekend DIYer. Aston told me he has 20 years of experience, after learning from his father in England, and it showed. I will definitely use him again.

Mr.. Hill Patched a fairly large area, matching the original stucco design type or finish. Did a good job, was on time and kept in touch. when rained kept in touch to reschedule. was honest in telling us what to expect regarding possible color differences between the old faded stucco and the new stucco color did not pressure us to hire him. He was on time , completed work in a timely manner. Pribe appeared to be at upper end, but in the end it was worth it.

Aston made it a point to come visit our home to provide a free estimate, which was important for us to know how much to expect the repair would cost prior to authorizing the work. Once we agreed upon the price Aston scheduled the service quickly, and showed up on-time to perform the repair. The job ended up being a bit larger than initially anticipated, but Aston stood by his quoted price and he did an excellent job matching the patched area to our existing home texture. He left the jobsite clean, and kept me updated throughout the process. I would recommend Aston for stucco repairs, and will definitely use him for future work that we may need.
