I really enjoyed working with Daniel and his crew. Despite how stressful it should have been, Daniel's professional knowledge and experience really eased the process and now we have a beautiful house. Diamond Painting Co was timely, efficient, and made sure we got the highest quality for our budget. They scraped our popcorn ceiling, painted, and put in new carpets. I will definitely be calling them first for any future home needs. I am so glad I found them on Home Advisor.

I interviewed 6 contractors before settling on Daniel and Diamond Painting Co. I found Daniel to be very warm and personable upon meeting him and truly felt he was invested in and committed to providing the thorough and detailed job we were looking for. He, his wonderful dad and crew met all of our expectations and did so at a fair and reasonable price. I would call Daniel back for any additional painting needs we have in the future and highly recommend them.

From the initial estimate stage Daniel was timely and professional, all the while conveying that level of trust and comfort I was looking for. His team of painters are top notch. I not only knew I was in good hands but trusted them 100%. I started with thinking I just wanted my interior painted but with Daniel's guidance and seeing how well his guys prepped, I decided to scrape the popcorn and add baseboards and trim. When you are living in the house it is a very invasive undertaking but they cleaned up so well and really took care. I'm 100% thrilled and it took less than two weeks! Thank you all very much!

The person who first came to my home to price out the job kept changing the price. He came in, looked around, and said $300, $400 if we wanted the job completed in one day. Then he took a phone call and the price shot up to $700. I asked him why the difference in prince. He did not answer, but asked me what I was willing to pay; kept saying: "Everyone has a budget. What's your budget?" Was very pushy about price and scheduling, because, you know "I'm very busy..." We eventually settled on $600. The work is very good and the painter who completed the job was excellent - very tidy, paid attention to detail. I am happy with the outcome, but not the journey it took to get here. I would recommend the PAINTER, but not the SALESMAN.

The painters worked very hard and were kind

I didn't like that he always wanted to know our budget instead of just giving a quote of how much he'd charge. He quoted us that he would level out the ceiling and then texture - but when finished, we complained that the ceiling wasn't level and he asked for more money, then again asking for our budget to complete the job he stated he would do. One of his lead workers was ill several times and nobody showed. I believe this is why he asked for more money. His workers did not have proper tools, they borrowed our tools and ladders and left the ladder covered with plaster. They expected my husband to take off hardware and outlet covers and when he wasn't available they just painted over the outlets covers and we had to ask them to paint it correctly. Now that it is done it does look good, but we are upset about the extra $3000 that we had to pay to get it done properly.

I hired Diamond Painting to paint two rooms in my house because they came highly recommended on Home Advisor. I have never written a bad review before but this was such a nightmare I have to put this in writing. Daniel, the owner, came out to bid the job, gave me a price that we agreed on, discussed details about paint color, etc and said he would send me a contract via email. When they showed up to to do the job on the appointed day I still had no contract but I wasn't worried because Daniel and I had come to an agreement and I had no reason yet to distrust him. Once Daniel got there it was a whole different story. He had already bought 5 cans of a paint color I specifically told him I did NOT want (Whisper White) but he tried to guilt me into accepting the color saying he couldn't take it back and he would lose money. I told him if he had sent me the contract like he promised to do, it would have been in writing and he would have remembered that I said I didn't want that color because it was too bright and he wouldn't be in this situation. It went from bad to worse after that. He left me with 3 guys, only one of whom was competent, Peter. If this site allows me to post pictures of this job I certainly will because the mistakes were numerous and extensive. There were drips and bubbles everywhere on the walls and moldings as well as paint drippings on my floor and hardware. The door casings and base molding were painted flat white instead of gloss white TWICE; after I pointed out the mistake the first time they made the same mistake again! They didn't cover my furniture until I said "That's a new couch aren't you going to cover that?" One of the painters who has since been fired I'm told, took a beer out of my refrigerator and drank it! There are dozens of details about what went wrong but no space to include it all here. Daniel told me his own father who has been a painter for 30+ years told Daniel he was embarrassed to be associated with such poor quality of work on this particular job and it was hard for him to face me. Peter had to come back on a different day to re-do all of the mistakes that were made the first time around so I gave him a tip because he had to clean up the other painters' mess. Daniel uses this fact that I tipped one of his guys as "proof" that I thought they had done a good job. Hardly! I give credit where credit is due and Peter was a good guy. Daniel begged me to give him another chance to redeem himself because this was not the quality his company was known for. I agreed after he gave me a good price on doing several rooms in my house and as long as he gave me more professionals like Peter the next time. Once again we discussed in detail the price and exactly what he would do. However when he came back to meet with me to put it in writing he changed everything that we had agreed on. He reneged about the price and what was included in that price, claiming he hadn't agreed to that and that he would lose money on the job

Daniel and his team did a great job in painting the interior of our house. I'll give him 5 star for that! We are extremely satisfied of the job he did and got many compliments from friends. When we need the flooring done, he offered to take the job. That's when I rate him 3.5 for this job. The job was still done. He gave us a very reasonable and affordable price for the flooring but project wasn't done timely as expected. He had issues getting his man to get the flooring job done on time. He had to pull somebody somewhere else as we were running tight with time. Overall, the job was excellent and would hire them again. We still need exterior painting for our house and still consider them for this project. I recommend Daniel for painting job.

They also suggested meeting with the painting manufacturer rep to help with color for painting the house. Helped us decide.
