SCOTT TERMITE CONTROL

At the recommendation of my realtor, I called Scott Termite control to come out for an inspection for termites when I was in escrow to sell my home. Scott Termite was a little difficult to reach at first, I think it might be a husband and wife team type of thing and they were on vacation or something. It was about a week or two before he could come out. Scott came out and did an inspection that lasted about an hour. Within a day or two I had a professional report emailed to me detailing the termite issues he found. It was minimal, and he suggested a whole house fumigation, but living in a condo assocaition, I wasn't allowed to take that route. His secondary recommendation was to treat locally, by drilling into the wall and injecting poison in the area. I rescheduled the work to be done while I was away from home and told him how to get into the house by himself. The work was completed and there was no mess or any evidence he was there aside from the area where he worked, there was some small holes in the wall, but you really had to get down on your hands and knees to see it. The work was done correctly, and at a good price. They emailed a follow up report directly to escrow and actually billed them for the treatment, which was convenient. I trusted him to be in my house alone and he didn't rip me off. Plus I was able to sell the house!

Scott began his inspection, and conducted visual and structural tests around the complete exterior including inside garage. Then he performed an inside inspection including attic and inspecting under the house in the crawlspace. He kept the house completely clean and concluded. He let me know that we had zero signs of termites, and even gave me information on my home's construction and location that made it very favorable to avoid termite infestation. I arranged for the inspection upon suspicion of a termite or other bug problem due to tiny droppings on a window sill which reappeared after cleaning. He examined the droppings and confidently concluded that it was a cricket that I had. I did hear a cricket from time to time, but couldn't pinpoint where it was, and was delighted that it was not a problem at all and no termites existed. With all the work inside, in the attic, and under the dirty house, Scott did not charge ANY FEE. I was shocked and delighted. He said that he has been blessed by referral business and does not charge for inspections. Based upon his thoroughness and super friendliness, I DEFINITELY recommend Scott (Scott Termite Control).
