Installer was very professional and courteous. Got the job done by himself in the specified time frame. Took away old door. I called 3 installers and all had the same price within $50 for what I was looking for so I chose solely based on service.

Daniel of L & S did a great job! He arrived on time first thing in the morning. He removed the old opener, installed the new one, changed out the door button, installed an outdoor key pad opener, adjusted the springs, lubricated all the moving parts and reprogrammed my car opener. Daniel was polite, personable, hard working and knows everything about garage doors. The opener they sold me is of the highest quality. Boy the difference is amazing. All the noise is gone. The new one has a back up battery which is great since I've had several electrical outages where I could't get my car out of the garage since I'm not strong enough to manually lift and close the door. The new one can also be controlled via an Ap from my phone in case I forget to lower the door, which has happened. This is the second time I have used L & S and they were terrific both times. Blayne also gave me a 5% Angie's List discount. I highly recommend them for anything to do with garage doors or openers. The price was quite reasonable for the total job.

Great guys. He (I think Blayne) came right over after I called, and with a few minor tweaks got the door working again. I will definitely call them if I ever have a problem or need a new door.

Ken was great! He came early morning, explained the work to be done and after 30-45 minutes, he was done. Both torsion springs replaced, serviced all other moving parts and gave me the piece of mind that the garage assembly including the opener are all in good working condition.

Service man was punctual early in the morning. After inspection of the door, he decided the replacement springs he had brought would work but were not the best suited, so he asked if he could return later that day with another set. He returned later in the day (after his scheduled appointments for the day) and replaced the springs. He checked everything on the garage door system, the pulleys, the alignment of the cables, pulleys, doors, the drive (he lubricated the drive), suggested how often to lube the drive and springs, checked the force and travel settings on the drive. lurbricated the door, reinforced drive attachement at the door with new screws, and some other things. The job was done professionally and the service man was very helpful in providing tips on how to maintain the door. Without hesitation, I would call the provider if I need a new garage door in the future or for any garage door work. Very satisfied.

I had an emergency in that the door fell part way off the rails. They came the same day!

We called and conversation was very courteous. They were able to come out same day but we preferred to get appointment next day which they gladly accommodated. Arrived exactly on-time for appointment. (Impressed us from the start!) Great service provided by Daniel. Determined problem was broken spring as I suspected. Replaced spring as needed. Did safety inspection. Lubricated the door. Was very courteous and quick with his work. He answered all of our questions and explained everything to do to keep the door working in good condition. Price was very reasonable for work done and they provided a three warranty on the spring. Did not try to up-sell anything or trick us into doing more than was needed. Very impressed by honesty and trustworthiness. This is the second time we have used L & S. Last time was for maintenance and door wheel replacement. Both services were excellent. Will definitely use them again when needed. Highly recommend them.

Did same day repair. Offered to either duplicate the existing 1 spring installation or provide a 2 spring installation. Selected the 2 spring installation with the hope that we'll notice it if & when the first spring breaks in the future and before the 2nd spring breaks. The tech was knowledgeable, quick & professional. No pressure, he offered both choices and I decided on the dual spring option.

One evening our garage door decided to break with a loud crash (the spring had snapped. I did what I usually do in such situations: consulted Angie's List, found not only a highly rated company (L&S Garage Door Services), but also a deal that they were offering at the time. I purchased the deal, called the company, made an appointment, and they were out bright and early the next morning to do the repair. The repair was done quickly, efficiently and professionally, and I will definitely call this company again if I need help with my garage!

He was prompt & fixed the spring...all went well.

Dan Nelson of L&S Garage Door Services arrived promptly and evaluated the problem with the door. He observed that the other company had used the wrong springs which were not strong enough for the size of my door. This in turn was causing the other issues and scraping noises. He suggested that I contact the other company and request them to return and install the correct springs for my door and Dan provided me the detailed information as to the appropriate size springs that my door required. Since I already had bad feelings about the other company and did not want to have any further dealings with them, I asked Dan if L&S could replace the mis-sized springs with the proper springs along with fixing the other issues caused by the wrong sized springs. Dan indicated that he had all the needed hardware and could replace the springs. Dan and Blaine felt so bad about how I had been taken advantage of by the other company that they agreed to do the work for a very nominal price. So, now I have a smooth working, quiet, well balanced garage door with the proper springs! Dan really went the extra mile and also replaced missing screws, noisy rollers and lubricated all the hinges/rollers! Dan really takes his profession seriously and wants to make sure that the door is perfect before he is finished. Lesson learned I should have called L&S in the first place. I unconditionally recommend L&S and I now understand why they always score so highly on Angie's List.

Great service! Don and Cory were friendly, honest and seasoned pros. I thought I might have to replace the garage door and motor. They repaired the door in a timely matter and said the garage was good to go for a long time. It's very refreshing to meet an honest repairmen. Made my whole day!

I was at first attracted by the "big deal" offer, but then when I saw the gold shield and gold star rating and read some of the reviews, I called with full confidence. Our main spring on our roll-up door had broken at 5 am. L & S came out the same afternoon. They did the spring and some much needed work on the hinges and door bracing. Quality roducts, quality people, quality work. They have my highest rating and I will call L & S for any future service needs.

We bought the special deal from Angie's List from L & S Garage Doors. Everything about the experience was wonderful. I called them directly and they were able to come out the same day and replace our broken spring. The technician, Ken, was wonderful. Very professional and good at his job. He thought the first springs he installed were not the best fit for our garage door so he took those off and installed another set. Now it opens and closes so smoothly. I needed a new garage door opener; Blaine suggested over the phone it would be cheaper for me if he mailed one to me and I programmed. Great! But I also wanted to check out my garage door as it's over 40 years old. He programmed the new opener; but in a new cable to open the door when electricity is out. He checked out the door and said was in good shape. He did not try to sell me something I did not need. Completed the job quickly, provided information about my door. Very knowledgeable, friendly and would call again.

I had a broken spring on my garage door so called L&S to see if they could send someone. They sent someone out that day. The technician, Dan, arrived on time and was friendly. He was able to fix the garage door springs efficiently in no time. After he was done, he lubricated all the hinges and springs with silicone to maximize performance and life. He also adjusted the tracks for smoother operation as well as tightened my garage door sensors which were a bit loose. The garage door is working great!

The spring of our garage door was broken. I called L&S and they were able to send out someone that afternoon (on a Sunday). The person who came was very friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. He knew what he was doing and quickly fixed the springs.

Company was very prompt in taking care of my garage door repair. Chris arrived right on time and gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way to my home. He was VERY polite, personable, and professional. He got right to work and didn't mind explaining his task to me as I was watching and asking questions. It went great.. My husband an I were actually babysitting for our grandsons when the spring on the garage door broke.. Our daughter and her husband were out of the country and not expected back for 2 weeks.. we live in Michigan so we had no idea who to call in California.. I have been an Angie's List member for about a year and had not used the services on the site until this unfortunate mishap... What a relief when I remembered about Angie's List!!! I had been trying to get a deal on Groupon to service my garage door and the two I tried were nightmares. So, of course, off to Angies List I went and found L&S Garage Door Services. I called them on a Tuesday and Ken came out that same day to adjust my garage door and replace the spring. Other than the great and professional service, they actually answered the phone the first time I called, offered a good price for the service requested and came out the same day - on time! Definitely going in my favorites. Highly recommend L&S Garage Door Services.
